If you’re looking for your own equipment, here are some reputable shops who carry Nordic skis and boots:

REI , Gear West, Wasatch Touring, Amazon, The House, Ski Rack

You need to have:  1 pair classic skis, 1 pair skate skis*, combi-style boots, 1 pair of poles for both techniques.

DEVO is a winter program for elementary and middle school kids. Read up on Devo, here.

This year’s techniques and dates are as follows:

Classic: January 3rd – January 26th
Skate*: January 31st – February 23rd
DEVO Carnival: February 28th and March 2nd

*Classic skiing is the basis of all skiing. For that reason, some of the youngest and newest skiers might remain on classic skis for the entire year. This is done to allow skiers to develop all of the pre-requisite skills skating requires before moving on.

Volunteers

Devo Ski Team needs you! No skiing experience is necessary. We’ll find you the perfect job and even teach you to ski along the way!

Why the price increase?

Our Junior Comp Winter program used to begin in December. It now begins in mid-October. The program is now an additional six weeks long.

You'll get $250 back when you volunteer 15 hours for TUNA and complete a greeter shift at Mountain Dell.
