TUNA Fun Relay

THE EVENT: A fun relay event to welcome winter and shake out the legs before the WCS Season.
LOCATION: Relay is at Mountain Dell
DATE: Saturday, December 16th, 2023
TIME: The classic leg of the relay will start at 10am
RULES:
- Each team is three skiers
- First skier MUST ski classic technique. Second and third skiers are freestyle (meaning skate or classic if you want to ski classic)
DISTANCES:
Skiers 12 and older will ski a 3km Loop
Skiers under 12 ski 1km
REGISTRATION: Register here by midnight Thursday, Dec 14th. $20 per team.
SCORING: Skiers will be timed, but unlike the past, we will not be calculating a handicap. In other words, this is a FUN event to go fast with your friends, get that race feeling back, and enjoy our home course!
WAX:
- Like all of our races, this is a non-fluoro event. Keep Mountain Dell non-toxic!
- The weather is forecasting blue on blue. Should be a great opportunity to kick those fresh new skis in perfect conditions! (COLD)

This is a single race entry for Junior, U8 to U20.
JUNIOR - AGE GROUP: This race is for juniors who intend to race in their USSA/FIS Age Group race (U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, U20). No need to enter an age - our race crew will assign you to the appropriate race. If you are a U20 who wishes to race in the Open class, you must sign up as a Senior. PARENTS: Please fill out a complete form and waiver for each child under 18 you are registering.
