Description

About

Beginner/Intermediate: No experience necessary. Basic skate skills taught (V1, V2, V2 alternate, double pole). If you’ve never skated, or you’ve taken some laps around but would like to learn the technique, this is your class.

ABOUT THE COACH: Jen Zurick is an experienced youth and adult coach. Having served as the coordinator for the DEVO program, she has ushered many young people through their first steps on skate skis. Jen is also an instructor at White Pine Touring in Park City. Jen participates in the WCS races when she isn’t busy coaching kids, adults, and wrangling her own little skiers.

Student/Coach ratios for this program will be 8:1.

A valid Mountain Dell day or season pass is required for this program.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Coaches: Jen Zurick, Jeff Minnema, Grace Swanson (bios coming). Skiers should arrive dressed for the weather and with required skate or classic equipment.

If you are interested please contact the program coordinator, Derek Hackmann, at derek.hackmann@utahnordic.org. Once a date is confirmed you will be asked to complete the transaction at the link below.
Prices:
Prices for 1 hour lessons are $50 for the first participant and $35 each for participants 2-4.
Prices for 2 hour lessons are $90 for the first participant and $60 each for participants 2-4.
*Each participant must be a TUNA member and have a valid Mountain Dell pass (season or day pass)
