Return of Winter.
The warm before the storm. We are very much looking forward to having some fresh snow on the ground as soon as this evening. If the storm comes in as predicted, we’ll need a bit of time to build up the track from the base and we’ll update as soon as we have more information. THE NORDIC SHOP REMAINS OPEN FOR SALES, WAXING, RENTALS AND SERVICE. We are still offering ski rentals for Bonanza Flat and our guided snowshoe tours. Please stay off the golf course and other trails to help preserve the remaining base and prevent damage to the wet surface. Red beanies are still recommended wear in blustery times.
ALL of our trails are officially and temporarily CLOSED. The shop is OPEN 9-5 today offering gear sales, waxing service, rental skis and snowshoes. Drop off your skis for a spa wax treatment before the snow comes in. Join us for snow drum circle, sacrificial offerings to Ullr, and snow bunnies as we watch the storm roll in. Waiting for the next round of snow…just a skiff yesterday…Monday is looking good…okay now Tuesday is the day…is tonight the start?…
