Fairview got 5-6″ of wet snow last week (12/2) but it was spotty and the golf course did not fare well. This last week was warm and sunny so major melt-off. Most recent storm (12/8) was just a tease in Sanpete so no prospect of skiing until further notice. Time to head north!

We are open to season pass holders (8:30-4:30)!! We have groomed out our snow whales in the hollow and beyond and the skiing looks fantastic – and we even have set classic track! The trailhead area is a little rough still as we are continuing to blow snow to take advantage of these lovely cold temperatures, so you will have to be cautious as you pick your way around to the goods. Come and enjoy this true winter wonderland!

We are open 9-5 daily! About 6 inches of fresh snow yesterday. As of 8:00 cold, blue wax conditions all day. Getting ready for a sunny winter day! Remember to ride the bus, micro transit, carpool or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! We’re grooming the 3k and 5k for skating and will set classic track The dog loop is closed with running water but we’ll look at it later to see if coverage has changed. Skating and Classic will be soft early with the dry windblown snow yesterday. Come in and shop for wax and new gear. Blue wax today or rub on universal. If your skis are sticking its time to wax. Go play in the snow and cold sunshine. The shop is open so come pick up your pass and check out all the amazing new gear and clothing. We have boots in your size!

We got the good word, we WILL OPEN TO SEASON PASS HOLDERS TOMORROW! We will groom out piles of blown snow and with the added natural snow will offer whatever trails are safe to ski. Just FYI, looking ahead to Monday, it appears there will be another mini-warm up, so we will ask that all skiers be off the trails by noon. Thank you and we will see you tomorrow! We will be open to the general public starting Friday, December 15th.

New update already! We will roll all the trails today and take the small groomer out on Spin N Grin and Cabin Loop and assess if the coverage makes for safe skiing. We’re grooming the 3k and 5k for skating and will set classic track but the wind may have other ideas unless you come and help ski it in. The dog loop is closed with large amounts of running water but we’ll look at it later to see if coverage has changed. Skating and Classic will be soft all day with dry windblown snow.

Groomed the upper loops today, sled packed/single track the lower loops and Jordan Pines. Snow was pretty wet and heavy this morning. Snowing as we left so conditions should improve. Have fun!

Our March in December snomance has continued. Warm and windy overnight. Wet snow this morning. 3km will be groomed and set. We’re letting the 5km sit and it is not recommended due to some bare patches and hazards from the warmth. Conditions should improve during the day, but temps near freezing will mean soft conditions. red wax or universal rub-on probably will be best. maybe yellow this morning? yikes. A good day to drop your skis for waxing and look at new gear. Keep an eye on the weather. there might be a gear window for skiing this afternoon before the big storm tomorrow!

We were able to blow a bunch of snow last night and we are looking forward to this being the last unseasonably warm day in a while. After this, we seem to have a more favorable weather window and still hope to open to season pass holders this weekend and then to everyone December 15th! Extreme Spring skiing. Fast and fun in the morning, slush and soft late in the day.
We are open 9-5 daily! Warm yesterday, cold overnight means a little spicy this morning. We’re grooming the trail wide enough for skating and will set classic track on the 3km and 5km loops. Armstrong was rolled, explore with caution. The dog loop is thin with large amounts of running water. Skiing should be really good once the sun comes up! Skating and Classic will be soft after mid day Very warm conditions this afternoon, so ski mid day and then come in and shop for wax and new gear later. Good afternoon!
The 2.5k and the 4.5k tracks are too wet and soft to groom at this time due to the warm temperatures and rain that we received yesterday afternoon. With warmer temps coming through Wednesday we are now anticipating an opening after the next storm cycle at the end of this week. We are looking forward to opening up and seeing all of you soon!

A lovely day for a ski. Wet snow yesterday should make it a little sticky early, but better later. Warming trend will definitely make you wax your skis up. Red wax will do for today. 3k and 5k groomed today. We’ll be grooming mid morning to let the moisture settle a little. Armstrong is rolled but not groomed. Ski with extreme caution if you go there. We’ll try to get the dog loop rolled later today as well.
