Upper loops sled packed and rolled this morning. It will be soft today. No classic tracks yet, but a beautiful day for poking around. Please watch out for a moose and her calf on upper Milt’s and give them a lot of room.

White Pine

Winter is here! about 8″ of snow yesterday at White Pine. Multiple grooming passes with the snowcat and snowmobile made for great conditions. This morning everything will be groomed. The Farm will be the last area groomed but should be in good shape by late morning. More snow expected this afternoon so plan accordingly and add a warm layer to the clothing mix. Classic should be great all day, skating will be very good until the snow hits later. Then it will be very good, just a bit softer. Stay safe and please wear your mask in the shop. Your behavior helps us stay open.

Sunday update: Track was groomed with the Tidd Tech late today for skating. Looks very good. No classic track yet but with some new snow coming I will add a track soon.

Fairview got about a foot of snow overnight Dec 23/24. On Dec 24, the track was rolled to pack all that snow. Christmas was warm and sunny. A bit more snow and colder last night. Snow in the forecast and colder. I will try to stay on top of the grooming the next few days and post updates.

White Pine

A little blustery this morning. High wind and snow early. Grooming will be focussed on the 3k, 5k and Snow Pasture trails. The Farm will NOT be groomed until after the storm and the wind settle down. Stay safe out there. Check traffic and road conditions before you head out.

Christmas Day Grooming Report: groomed Main, short Mitten, Kids, Bypass, Boomerang, Wiggle and Lollitop. Skate lanes cleaned up nicely, current classic is in good condition…Merry Christmas!

White Pine

Our hours today will be 12:00pm until 4:00pm. Updated grooming report will be posted then. Some new snow overnight. Everyone please have a safe and healthy holiday. Please do not attempt to drive your motor vehicle on the ski trail. The only person who benefited from that was the tow driver. Neither WPT nor the Park City Police were amused.

Merry Christmas! Santa stopped by Spruces and groomed all the loops for you holiday skiers. Vert wet snow made for poor grooming conditions, but the trails are groomed as best as possible. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Spruces Historic Trail signs to learn the neat history of the campground. Have fun!

Arrived to find 2-3″ of very wet snow this AM. 31 degrees when we arrived at 8:00, 37 degrees as I write this at 11:30. We groomed the Main, Mitten (shortened), Kid’s cutoff, Boomerang, Wiggle Room, and the Lollitop. We groomed but then closed the stem of the lollipop due to low snow. Conditions are marginal, to fair. It rained yesterday PM prior to snow. Take care with thin snow pack. Hopefully the next couple days we’ll get a little more substantial amount.
Please take a moment on the Mtn Dell page (https://utahnordic.org/mtndell/) to see the new webcam and snow stake.

3-inches of warm, wet snow fell overnight. We groomed main , upper mitten, out’n back, wiggle room and the upper lollipop for skate and classic, but the snow is thin in spots. Skiing will be better after the remainder of the storm. Beware that the handle of the lollipop is closed due to thin snow and car tracks. Also expect some ponding from the springs. Happy Holidays!

White Pine

We are open until 4 this afternoon! Everyone please have a safe and healthy holiday. Everything is groomed and track set after the couple inches of fresh snow last night. Please purchase and display your trail pass. Be a good example. A great day for skiing. We’ll be open noon until 4 tomorrow. Please wear your mask inside the shop. We want to enjoy the holidays with our families too!
