The 3km remains OPEN with quite good coverage due to incredible community and staff shoveling efforts and skillful grooming. Our groomers smoothed and refreshed the skate surface last night on the 3km “Community Loop.” Casual classic tracks are skier set adjacent to most of the loop and on-track classic skiing is good despite the lack of set tracks. Off trail classic skiing remains good on the crust. The firm dry base should hold for well today with the slightly warmer day coming.
Please no walking or dogs or walking of dogs on the trails. We’ll definitely be open and skiing well through the weekend. near 50 degree temperatures this weekend will affect the trail conditions and will probably bring up some icy or grassy patches from below.
Blue wax early today with base structure, purple/red wax from midday. Best skiing will be before about 2:30 pm today.
The 5km Loop, Armstrong, Dog Loop and Farm trails are CLOSED. Ski with attention and caution on the firm trails. There are unmarked hazards.
We are OPEN 9-5 today and every day offering lessons, rental skis, and snowshoes. Drop in the shop, purchase your pass and head outside to play in the sun and snow! Drop off your skis afterwards for a relaxing wax spa session. Join us for full moon snow dances, offerings to Ullr, ski yoga and snow bunny spotting every evening. Wrap up early, peel off the jackets later and string together some laps!
