Fresh snow and sunshine,
Cold temperatures are back,
Seize the day and ski!
Wow! IN-TOWN NORDIC IS BACK! We received nearly a foot of snow yesterday! We were able to fire up the brand new snowcat for the first time this season. We are snowcat grooming the 3k “Community Loop” for a 9:00 am opening and then we’ll regroom the 5km loop. Armstrong and the Farm may come on after we assess the snow depth and drifting late tonight.
It’s a bluebird, blue wax, snow bunny and white corduroy day at White Pine.
Please stay off the golf course and other trails unless you’re on skis. Warm red beanies are recommended and be cautious, it is icy out. The shop is OPEN 9-5 today offering lessons, trail passes, gear sales, waxing service, rental skis and snowshoes. Drop off your skis for a spa wax treatment after your laps. Join us for a thankful snow drum circle, offerings to Ullr, and very happy snow bunnies as we watch the sun arc across the sky!
