IN-TOWN NORDIC IS BACK! We received another inch of fluff on top of nearly a foot of groomed snow since Wednesday! We groomed the 3k “Community Loop”, the 5km loop and Armstrong last night. The morning fluff will offer some very good skiing today for skate and classic. Armstrong was groomed and will be very soft but good.
The deep culverts and drainages on the farm still risk damaging equipment and skiers, we’ll head out and see what might be possible there. The dog loop has been flooded from irrigation water and is a grassy ice rink.
It’s another blue wax, snow bunny and fresh snow day at White Pine Touring. Please stay off the golf course and other trails unless you’re on skis. Warm red beanies are recommended and be cautious, it is icy out on the sidewalks. The shop is OPEN 9-5 today offering lessons, trail passes, gear sales, waxing service, rental skis and snowshoes. Drop off your skis for a spa wax treatment. Join us for thankful snow drum chants, offerings to Ullr, and very happy snow bunnies as we watch the sun set in the Wasatch back this evening!
