The TUNA Yurt is Amazing Anytime of the Year!
Each year we have to do a little work to ensure everyone has an amazing experience on their winter adventure. This includes some cleaning, splitting and stacking wood, and the odd fix-it or improvement task.
Priority Booking
The yurt can be hard to book because of its popularity… The worktrip is a great chance to get in the lottery for a coveted front-of-the-line spot for bookings.
Certification Included
We require everyone to be certified to use the yurt. We will hold a certification session at the end of the day, so come up and kill two birds with one stone!
Sunday September 27th: Work Party & Certification
- Work party:
- Arrive at the Norway Flats road at 8:00am. All volunteers will be entered in a lottery for 10 early reservation slots for the yurt.
- bring work attire, gloves, splitting axes, chain saws, wheelbarrows, water, snacks, and a can-do attitude!

Certification Just Got Easier!
For those who can’t attend the certification session, we now offer private (paid) certification options. Simply request this service during the reservation process and we will get you a guided trip to the yurt to complete a certification session for your group.
