About

Improve your skate technique! Two groups will form based on ability. Students should be familiar with skate techniques (V1, V2, V2 alternate) and be able to comfortably skate ski on uphills and downhills at Mountain Dell. This group is designed to take your skate skills to the next level of technique and efficiency.

Student/teacher mix will be no more than 8/1. Instructors are all experienced Nordic coaches. This clinic is for skate skiing, so skate skiing equipment is required.

A valid Mountain Dell day or season pass is required for this program.

About the Coaches

Barry Makarewicz is a multi-time national and world age group champion. He is also an experienced coach who has taught many of TUNA’s best how to ski.

Jeff Minnema is an experienced instructor at White Pine and is a long time WCS racer.
