Dave Hanscom Retires from WCS

Today was the last race of the WCS, and as such, the last of 150 race promotion days for the King of Skiing in the Wasatch, Mr. Dave Hanscom.

At WCS #5, Charlie Sturgis said a few words about what Dave has meant to the Nordic and backcountry ski community in Utah. Friends and acquaintances of Dave’s passed the hat last month over the website (tricky, since Dave has access to the backend of said website) and purchased Dave a very nice birding scope for his other hobby, spotting birds.
