Track was groomed Monday morning and made for good skating until late morning. Then it was softening and warming fast. Fairview received a bit of snow Monday night and temps are colder. I just went to the ski trails to groom the new snow but it is very windy and the new snow is blowing around and drifting. New skate and classic tracks would be blown in so I will wait until later this afternoon and hope there is enough new snow to groom up nicely and give us some more days of skiing.

Mountain Dell

Groomed about 2-3” of new snow this morning. With the new snow, skiing should be good.. Open and groomed trails are main, mitten, park cutoff, Lolli pop, and boomerang. We reset classic and skate on all open trails. Happy skiing.

Good Morning!!

Winter is back!! About 4 inches of new snow has fallen and it brought with a wind with a bite to it. The Upper and Lower tracks are groomed for skate and the crew was able reset new classic lanes on both trails. Conditions are good with firm snow underneath the new that fell overnight. The wind could be a factor throughout the day so be cautious of wind blown areas. Colder temps should allow the trails to hold well.

Enjoy the day!!

Soldier Hollow

Weather and conditions: We received a dusting of snow last night and there is a chance for another dusting today. It’s currently 23 F and mostly cloudy with an expected high of 27 F and some significant wind chill so bundle up!

Ski Trail Conditions: We groomed sections of the Hollow, the Cabin loop, Hermodes, and Little Buckaroo early this morning. It should be excellent skiing all day today.

All trails groomed for skate and classic this morning. 8″ of new snow overnight so the track is a bit soft. Lightly snowing and quite windy now, expecting about 5″ of new snow throughout the day. 9° at 8am, high of 21° today.

White Pine

About 4 inches of fresh snow and still light snow and windy at 7:30. A fair amount of wind drifting and on trail and especially at the Farm. Good snow overnight, but grooming will be a little delayed due to the wind. We’ll focus first on the 5k and 3k trails and get them open by about 9:30. We’ll take a look at the Farm when the wind dies down a bit. Much colder temperatures today will feel a lot like winter is back. Fresh packed cold snow and soft conditions for classic and skate today. Watch for some icy or drifty patches due to the wind. It should be much nicer after noon when the snow and breeze are predicted to ease up. Ski with awareness. The 3k and 5k will be ready first, the Dog Loop, Farm and Armstrong will be groomed next. Blue wax today and classic should be quite good. Be aware of winter walking conditions and use the handrails on the stairs. Please drive safely, walk with care in your ski boots and ski with Joy! Purchase your pass and wear it please. Continue to be aware, be careful and ski within your abilities. PLEASE ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips and park smart helps! Come play in the snow, drop in the shop to say hi, visit the geese and have a wintery and Joy filled ski day!

Good Morning,

The sun keeps shining! The upper and lower track has been groomed for skate. Classic lanes on both tracks are holding up well. The conditions will be firm and fast this morning due to cold overnight temperatures. As it begins to warm up through out the day, the track will begin to soften up. Bring on the snow!!

Have a great day!

A warmish, transitional day before tonight’s expected storm. It looks like it will a bit cloudy and relatively humid after a cold night. Hard packed cold snow and conditions for classic and skate today. Firm skate surface. The classic tracks are reset and firm. Watch for some icy patches but the morning should be better than yesterday. Conditions will soften a bit but temperatures will be more moderate and the track will stay fairly cold. Ski with awareness. All 22km of trails are open and groomed. The 3k and 5k will be ready first, the Dog Loop, Farm and Armstrong will be groomed next. Blue wax early then Red wax and structure from midday. The Farm was a little chunky yesterday from the continuing challenge of the wet snow layer that fell last week so we’ll try to get it smoothed out before the storm this afternoon. Please help us remind walkers and some locals who know better that the trail is for skiing in the winter and is a fee area.

Come play in the snow, drop in the shop to say hi, visit the ducks and have a beautiful and Joy filled ski day!

Mountain Dell

Jerry and Tom groomed for Monday from 5:30 pm (53 degrees) to 7:30 pm (46 degrees) Sunday evening.
Groomed Main, Mitten, Lolli stem, Lollypop, and Boomerang for skate and classic. Mitten, Lollypop and Lolli stem were thin in spots for the classic.
The skate track should be good in the morning and the classic should be fair if skied before the rain hits.
Ski with caution as there are many icy spots and a few bare spots.
Creek, Lower and Wiggleroom remain closed.

Norm and Tom groomed Sunday morning. We have a reduced amount of trail this morning, but that will change after Tuesday’s storm. For Sunday, fresh skate on Main, Mitten, Boomerang, Lollipop and Park Ave. Classic was left as is, and will be fully glazed until about 11 A.M. and then will soften up. Skate is firm early and then softening up but staying quite reasonable despite the very warm and sunny days.

Solitude Nordic

Good morning! At 0745 it is 14°F and -10°C with no new snow. All trails groomed for classic and skate skiing except for New Sensation. A stretch of Cornucopia has a lot of dirty, salty debris on the trail from the UDOT snowblowing operation. Please use caution.

White Pine

Another warm Spring Day before tomorrow’s storm! Sunshine and blue sky one more time. SPF 30+ today. A repeat of yesterday, but even warmer in the afternoon. Great snow and conditions for classic and skate today. Crumbly on top and firmly packed skate surface. The classic tracks will be spicy/icy until mid morning due to the cold overnight temperatures. Conditions will soften significantly during the day as the temperatures warm. Sun exposed areas will change from hard to soft quickly mid-morning. Ski with awareness. All 22km of trails are open and groomed. The 3k and 5k will be ready first, the Dog Loop, Farm and Armstrong will be groomed next. Blue wax early then Red wax and structure from mid-morning. Yellow late this afternoon? Maybe.
