Have a peaceful and joy-filled holiday. We are opening at 10 am today. We will be closing at 4 pm today. Not a big storm Saturday, but cold morning and afternoon temperatures make for a sunny winter-like day today. The track is grooming up pretty well. Just a light resurfacing this morning and using yesterday’s classic track. Blue wax all day. Skating will be good. Classic is much better with the new snow. A sunny, cold, Joy-filled winter ski day! We have 10km of skiing open. Remember to ski with care, those thinning spots, icy spots and exposed areas are just below the surface.
Remember to ride the bus, micro transit, carpool or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! We’ve groomed the 3k, 5k and Armstrong. The dog loop is much better, almost completely skiable now. Give the gift of glide this holiday season. Wax cards and all of the waxes from basic to super fast are in the shop. Go play in the snow, share the Joy! Be sure to thank our incredible groomers when you see them. Lou, Roch, Matias, Mark, Todd, Joaqiun and Julian have been working extremely hard to make your ski experience the best it can be. And they have been doing a great job. None of that classic track and morning corduroy happens by accident. And please if you see a stick, pinecone or willow branch on the trail, flick it off the trail. We want to preserve every flake until the next storm.
