Our busy holiday week continues! Come share the Joy of skiing. We are open 9-5 daily. Very much a repeat of yesterday. Another very cold morning and mid-20’s afternoon temperatures will make for a sunny winter-like day again. Just a light resurfacing groom this morning and using the established classic track due to thin conditions. Blue wax all day. Skating will be good. Classic is much like yesterday, improving over the day. We have ~12km of skiing open. Remember to ski with care, those thinning spots, icy spots and exposed areas are just below the surface. Please ride the bus, micro transit, carpool or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! We’ve groomed the 3k, 5k and Armstrong. The dog loop is much better, almost completely skiable now. Wax cards and all of the waxes from basic to super fast are in the shop. Go play in the snow, share the Joy! The shop is open so come pick up your pass and check out all the amazing new gear and clothing. If your skis are slow it’s definitely time to wax. White Pine Touring is a Flouro Free zone. No HF, LF or PFC waxes are allowed by county ordinance and common sense. If you have old Flouro waxes bring them in to the recycling bin in the shop and we’ll give you 25% off Flouro Free high performance replacement sprays and hard waxes. Let’s do our part to maintain drinking water quality and health.
