White Pine

Oh, it is looking like such a beautiful ski day.
About five inches of heavy snow yesterday covered with an inch of cold fluff this morning. Feel the Joy! Come and ski if you can. There will always be another meeting to go to on a day where the skiing won’t be quite as good! Drop in, turn off you phone and spend some quality time with yourself.
All 22km will be groomed and track set this morning. All trails are open, it will be a bit slow again this morning with the cold fresh on top of wet snow. As the day goes on it should just get better and better. Classic will be very good today and skate should be firmer through the day. Watch for a couple of icy areas on trails and walkways from all the moisture that has been around this week. Stay flexible, aware and ski with Joy! The 5km, 3km and Armstrong loops will be groomed first today. The Farm and Dog Loop will be groomed and classic track set after with the snowcat. If you go out to the Farm, ski with care and enjoy the arrival of winter conditions. Please purchase your pass and wear it. Watch for elk on the Farm.

Blue wax early, Red/purple wax and structure from mid day. Please continue to be aware, careful and ski within your abilities. Ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! Come play in the snow, share the adventure, say Hello to the bunnies and enjoy what should be a very nice winter ski day!
