White Pine

It is definitely still Winter out here.

WE WILL BE OPEN AND GROOMING UNTIL APRIL 10th! Come out and show your support for locally owned and operated cross country skiing. Your support helps us keep equipment running and helps pay our rent to Park City. Almost 5 inches of heavy snow overnight with some snow coming and going through the day. No Farm grooming today, we’ll let the moisture settle until tomorrow in these difficult, wet snow grooming conditions. 3k, 5k and Armstrong are groomed and track set. Classic skiing might be the pro move today. Skating will be slow and potentially sticky unless your skis are well taken care of. There are a few icy/thin spots lurking in exposed areas and under the trees especially on the 5km, so ski with awareness and some caution near those. We’ve put in a couple of detours too so pay attention out there. Help us remind people that the ski trails are for skiing. The golf staff are clearing the greens to prevent snow mold, so be mindful of some work activity out near the trails. We’ll have a continuing wintery mix this weekend with a chance of further snow showers. All 20km of trails are open today, but as mentioned earlier, no grooming on the Farm today. Trails are open with a soft surface and classic track. The core 3k and 5k and Armstrong are groomed and resurfaced this morning. Skating and Classic skiing will be a little slow early but you should find a little Joy out there all day. Great ski time will be from 9:00-5:00 today. Red/Blue or violet wax today. Please be aware of changing conditions, be mindful and ski within your abilities. Everything you can do to reduce single driver trips and park smart helps! Come play outside then drop in the shop to say hi and rope in a deal on gear and clothing at our annual clearance sale. A good day to keep an eye out for snow bunny tracks.

White Pine Touring Nordic Center is a Flouro Free zone. No HF, LF or PFAS waxes are allowed by county ordinance and common sense. If you have old Flouro waxes bring them in to the recycling bin in the shop and we’ll give you 30% off Flouro-Free high performance replacement sprays and hard waxes. Let’s do our part to maintain drinking water quality and health.

Bandanas Cafe at the Hotel Park City across the hall is open until 8pm daily for your after-ski beverages, wine, pizza and pasta. Now you can ski until sundown and then have a relaxing place to dine while you’re waiting for traffic to thin out! Ask for discount coupons for evening dining!

Our annual sale is underway for 10 more days! Selection is limited to stock on hand, no special orders, all sales are final. No holds, no returns. Incredible savings on clothing, skis, poles and boots can be yours. We’ve still got a fairly good selection of skis and poles so we’ll be able to find the perfect pair for you!

We will be OPEN (weather permitting) until Wednesday April 10th! We’ll be open for Easter weekend and then few days after while we host a celebration of XC ski areas from across North America! Snow coverage has remained very good and we want to keep you skiing in town. Help us keep grooming by showing your support and getting out here to ski!

BOGO offer continues for Mountain Dell, Jeremy Ranch and Soldier Hollow Season Pass holders. Show us your Season Pass and we’ll get you and a friend out skiing. Grab a ski buddy, come in, show us your pass and you can buy two trail day passes for the price of one.
