We snowmobile groomed the 3km Community Loop last night. It is not perfect. It is firm for skating this morning and remains thin in areas. Ski with awareness. It will be softer this afternoon with the warming before the storm. There are unmarked hazards. By far the best snow conditions we’ve had sheathing the tracks and trees since early December. If it warms up in the afternoon please stay to classic only to save the snow. We’re releasing you from the pen to go play, but romp with care.
Our other ski trails remain closed for today. We are OPEN 9-5 today. We are giving lessons, renting skis and snowshoes. Drop in to the shop, buy your pass and give us a smile on the way out to ski! We are excited about forecast for the week, but are still taking suggestions for ceremonies and rituals to encourage the snow deities to release their fury upon the trails.
Haiku of the day: Walking dogs is good, Please not on the trails ever, help keep skiing safe
