Its a bluebird Sunday!!
We have groomed a 0.5km lower loop on hole #6 next to the trailhead and it is in great shape for both skate and classic. Unfortunately, the rest of the lower trail is not skiable at this time due to lack of snow on our connection bridges. We still would need a few more inches to get the entire lower trail open. The team has completed grooming our upper 0.8km trail and it is also in great shape for both skate and classic.
Day passes will be $10 for the rest of the season!
We currently have a “Glide Into the Nordic Golf Shop Sale” on all of our Nordic apparel and equipment. The Nordic Golf Shop is stocked with ski equipment from Atomic and Salomon, and Nordic apparel from Kjus, Rossignol and Odlo.

Mountain Dell
Main, Mitten, Lower to Swanson’s, Lollypop, Kids cutoff, Boomerang and Wiggle Room were groomed for skate last night by Nils and Brandon. The classic was reset on most of the Main. The skiing should be really good with cold, firm snow early, progressively warming through the day. Creek is roped off. If you choose to duck the rope, be aware that there are two bare spots in corners that you will come upon at speed that will likely damage your skis and might cause injury.
The snow is holding but don’t wait too long to ski!
Solitude Nordic
Good morning nordic skiers! At 0730 it is 15°F and all Solitude trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing except Big Redman cul-de-sac.
Canyon traffic will be an issue, but time it right and come on up.
Spruces
Pete groomed the upper loops Saturday night for skate and classic. Should be wonderful skiing this morning.
Mountain Dell
Cary and John groomed Saturday morning and as of noon it was still skiing great. Main, Mitten, Lower to Swanson’s, Lollipop, Boomerang and Wiggle Room are all open. If you duck the rope to ski Creek, use caution! There are a few bare spots that you will come upon at speed and they will take you down! We will be grooming again this evening. PLEASE STAY OFF THE COURSE AFTER 6 P.M. SATURDAY! The skiing Sunday should be quite good until about noon Sunday. See you out there!

Cary and John groomed Saturday morning. Thin is the word of the day. Heads up, use caution! They reset skate on Main, Mitten, Lower to Swanson’s and Lollipop. Creek is closed due to several bare spots. If you choose to duck the rope, watch for rocks! Too thin to reset classic, but the tracks on Main were still mostly well formed late Friday afternoon. Might be last call! Get out and enjoy the sunny day.

Good morning! At 0800 it is 2°F with all trails groomed this morning. Excellent cold snow conditions.
White Pine
The Wasatch Citizens Series distance race scheduled this Saturday for the Farm Trail was moved to Soldier Hollow. Details are at utahnordic.org

It is going to be a bluebird day! Starting out at 0F this morning with sunshine and warming through the day. We are snowcat grooming the 3k “Community Loop”, the 5km loop and Armstrong this morning. Armstrong was groomed and will be very soft but good. The deep culverts and drainages on the farm still risk damaging equipment and skiers. The dog loop has been flooded from irrigation water and is a grassy ice rink.
It’s another blue wax, SPF 50, fresh groomed snow day at White Pine Touring. Please stay off the golf course and other trails unless you’re on skis. Someone walked the entire 3k loop yesterday with their dog and spoiled thousands of dollars of hard grooming work. Round Valley, Basiv Rec and Willow Creek are fantastic dog options.
Warm red beanies are recommended and be cautious, it is icy out on the sidewalks.
The shop and trails are OPEN 9-5 today offering lessons, trail passes, gear sales, waxing service, rental skis and snowshoes. Drop off your skis for a spa wax treatment. Join us for thankful snow dances, offerings to Ullr, and very happy snow bunnies as we watch the sun set from the deck!
Please do not walk cycle or run on the Nordic Trails. Please do not walk your dogs and let them poop on the nordic trails. We work very hard to provide a quality ski experience for our paying customers and walking yourself and your dogs on the trails could be considered trespassing and violates municipal code. Round Valley, Willow Creek and Basin trails all offer exceptional options for taking your dog, yourself or your bicycle out.
Fairview
Fairview picked up some snow today- enough to mostly cover the short grass of golf course fairways. One intrepid soul set out and did some classic skiing but coverage is thin- about an inch. With a cold night, it might be possible to ski around Saturday morning. But no grooming possible- not even close. The forecast would also indicate that what little snow has fallen will disappear quickly. The new Yamaha Grizzly is “all dressed up with nowhere to groom.”
Mountain Dell
All trails except Lower beyond Cullen’s Cutoff groomed for skate this morning. Still a bit soft and thin in spots but shaping up nicely. Classic tracks from yesterday still good on most central trails but too thin to set on Creek and Lower. Beautiful morning!! Enjoy skiing at the Dell!!

We have groomed a 1km lower loop on hole #6 next to the trailhead and it is open for skate and classic. Unfortunately, the rest of the lower trail is not skiable at this time due to lack of snow on our connection bridges. During the recent storm, the snow blew around too much and has left the bridges very thin of coverage. We still would need a few more inches to get the entire lower trail open. The team has completed grooming our upper 2.5km trail and is open as well for skate and classic. Conditions are a little thin in spots on the upper trail but has groomed in great shape.
