To keep prices affordable, TUNA Adult Instruction clinics operate on a very small margin and maintain a low instructor-to-participant ratio to ensure high-quality, personalized instruction. Because of this, each clinic has limited enrollment.

When you register for a clinic, an instructor is hired and a spot is reserved specifically for you. For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of the program start date.

When possible, we will make a reasonable effort to transfer your registration to another clinic within the same session timeframe (for example, within the January session). However, we are unable to move registrations between sessions (e.g., January to February) and cannot provide refunds within the 30-day window.

Nordic skiing is a winter sport, and clinics are expected to take place in a wide range of winter conditions. Adverse weather or variable snow conditions are not grounds for canceling clinics or issuing refunds. Clinics will only be rescheduled in the event of truly hazardous conditions that make instruction unsafe.

When clinics cannot be held at Mountain Dell due to limited snow coverage, instruction will be moved to an alternate venue — most commonly Spruces in Big Cottonwood Canyon — and participants will be notified in advance.

We appreciate your understanding. These policies allow us to deliver consistent, high-quality instruction while keeping our programs accessible and fairly priced for the Nordic community.
