Full course groomed for skate. Equipment failure after several minutes of setting classic precluded further progress with the setter. Soft conditions after all the snow but beautiful day with dramatic lighting with the clearing storm.

A balmy -3°F this morning at Spruces. Matt and Dave groomed and set track on Tuesday and we received about an inch yesterday. Skiing will be very good today and snow is expected this weekend.

All trails were groomed this morning for skate and classic. Plenty of coverage up here. This spot is perfect for a workout or just getting out of the valley for a leisurely ski. Enjoy it while the conditions are good.

Packed and rolled the snow today, we had some mechanical issues that unfortunately didn’t allow us to clean up a couple messy, bumpy areas. After snow this weekend it should be cleaned up. Have fun!

All Spruces Nordic Trails dragged this morning. No classic tracks, but the trails are in good shape.

Groomed all loops today and set classic on the Upper and Lower loops. Have fun!
