Mountain Dell

Saturday morning update: From looking at a weather cam, it appears that Mountain Dell might have received an unexpected 1-2 inches overnight, all coming in after we groomed. Not that we are ones to complain about snow, but it might be a tough day to skate. Classic is is always fun in fresh snow! Here’s what last night’s crew said:

Christmas Eve day is ski day…come one, come all and avoid the mall!
All loops groomed for skate and classic with nice surfaces all around. The lower loop to Cullens and beyond was in great shape from previous groom and left untouched. The World Cup loop is open and groomed for those seeking an E-ticket thrill ride. Use caution walking across the icy parking lot. Have a blast out there!

SR-65

Merry Xmas and Happy Whatever!!!!
Canyon groomed for skate and classic to the top of Big Mountain.
Coverage is good bottom to top.
Classic is good and gets great as you climb.
Some blown in dust towards the top from high winds and dirt hillsides. But OK.

Good Morning,

The track conditions are fantastic today! The upper and lower track are groomed for both classic and skate. The wind chill warning is over so should be a perfect temperature throughout the whole day. Come and get set up with apparel from Odlo and Equipment for Atomic, everything is going fast!

We will be closing at 1:00pm on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.

White Pine

A beautiful day! We’ll have everything groomed and set after yesterday’s breezy adventures. Come and visit us and bring a little holiday cheer. We’ll be busy but we always have time for you. Stay safe and be patient with the traffic. The trail will be waiting even if it takes an extra few minutes to get here.

We’ll be closing 3:30 on the 24th

11:30 to 4 on Christmas day

Mountain Dell

We are rerouting a portion of Lower Friday morning. All of Lower will be closed all day Friday. All other trails groomed for classic and skate, except for World Cup. Track was groomed on Thursday evening and should set up nicely overnight producing great ski conditions on Friday.

Good Morning,

Some new snow overnight accumulating to about 4 inches. We have groomed the lower and upper tracks for skate and reset the classic lane. Not as windy as yesterday but may gust occasionally throughout the day. Make sure to layer up because the wind chill is cold.

Come in the shop and get set up with apparel from Odlo and equipment from Atomic! We will be closing at 1pm on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day.

Mountain Dell

A couple of inches of fresh snow overnight. Main, Mitten, Lower to Swanson’s Cutoff, Lollypop, Creek, Wiggle Room, Boomerang and Kid’s Cutoff all groomed for skate and classic this morning. The skiing should be fabulous (especially when it warms up a bit)! Enjoy the early season great snow.

White Pine

Winter is here. High winds and drifting this morning with extreme wind chill warning. About 3 inches of new snow but it could all end up in Wyoming. We’ll be grooming the 3k and 5k as the wind subsides. Stay warm and have a second cup of coffee before you head out. Drifting at the Farm will take a while to knock down and reset.

Should be a lovely afternoon for skiing!

Good Morning,

There’s more snow on the way! Both the upper and lower tracks are good to go for both classic and skate. The snow is a little softer from warmer temperatures overnight. There should be some considerable wind later on so be careful out there with snow drift. The tracks will start getting covered with more snow throughout the afternoon and tonight.

Come into the Nordic Center and get setup with some apparel from Odlo and equipment from Atomic. We will be closing at 1pm on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.
