You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy a trail pass and snake your way around the trails for two more days. After Wednesday night we grab our laces, tie up our things and pack away the snowcat for the season. The all-electric snowcat will be at the Farm today! It spent the night plugged in and changing for the day. Our final Tuesday of the season and it is a beautiful spring morning! The countdown rolls on. Only two more days to go. 130/131 days on snow so far for the season. A beautiful 22 degree winter morning to welcome our 130th day on snowy trails this season! Cold temperatures turning to very warm sun today will make for an amazing ski day. The infinite mysteries of ski wax and spring weather. We get everything, everyday, all at once. Come out and show your support for locally owned and operated cross country skiing. 3k, 5k and Armstrong will be groomed for skate and track was set yesterday. Snowcats will be arriving at the farm today. there will be partial grooming on the trail today. Pay attention while you’re skiing. Skating will be firm and fast early and should hold through midday. There are more icy/thin spots lurking in exposed areas, near the ponds and under the trees especially on the 5km. Ski with awareness and some caution near those. Skating and Classic skiing will be pretty amazing for April and you should find a sweet little window of fun today. Great ski time will be from 9:30-2:00 today. Red/Blue or violet wax and structure. Please be mindful and ski within your abilities. Come play outside then glide into the shop to say hello and check out our amazing shrinking ski wall. Clearance continues on our the remaining clothes, skis and poles. Come on in and clasp your hands on a great deal at our annual clearance sale (only one more pair of pink poles left on the wall, hurry in) Have a joy-filled sunny ski day, focus on taking care of the important bits and bindings. Keep an eye out for bunnies cavorting in the sun and our demo snowcats. We’ll be having snowcat demos at the farm Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, so don’t be surprised if you see an all electric snowcat and 4-5 other snowcats lay down some beautiful tracks on the farm during the week.
