The 3 km “Community Trail” is open and skiing well. The 5 km “Pond Loop” has some gaps and is discontinuous but offers wonderful ski, walk on the grass and ski again options. Definitely multiport today. We will not be resurfacing the snow today. We are trying to keep as much depth as possible. Not as cold overnight means spring-like conditions early today. Softening surface early and softening much more later in the day. Red wax is the wax of the day. Skiing be best today until about 12:00 when temperatures will be well above 40 degrees F. Surfaces are not deep at all, so ski with care and caution. If you skate, ride a flat ski and if you are cutting deep, please switch to classic so we can preserve the snow for the continuing warm days. If it’s possible, please stay off the trails late in the day if they are softening significantly. If you must go out, please classic skiing only in the afternoon.
We are in snow saving mode. Come in early to purchase or pick up your season pass and check out all the gear and clothing while we have the best selection of the season. Think snow! Hours 9am to 5pm daily. You must have a trail pass purchased and displayed to access our trails. Everyone ski safe, feel the Joy of gliding and enjoy another sunny spring-like day!
There are a few shovels and scoops on the 3km trail. Enjoy some cross training and toss a couple of scoops on to the trail thin spots. You’ll be stronger, get great joy from being part of our wonderful ski community and help the track last longer. Even a few scoops will fill your heart and your trail with seasonal Joy.
