A beautiful bluebird day coming up! Sunshine and cold groomed snow all day is the forecast. Very cold overnight again, so you’ll do best with blue wax for grip and glide all day today. We’ll see sun today and expect slightly warming temperatures this afternoon. We’re grooming the 3k, 5k, Armstrong and the Dog Loop with classic and resurfaced skate lanes. The dog loop is open and running with Joy through the field. The Farm is settling and should be open and groomed by the weekend. Stay tuned for opening updates. We are letting the base settle and firm up before we open it. Thank you for your patience. We want to make sure we have some of the natural terrain features smoothed out and firmed up before we open the Farm.
Classic skiing will be very good today and skate will also be quite good and getting better as the day goes on. A good universal liquid or paste wax on your fish scale classic skis (tip to tail) is always helpful. Skin skis are an exceptional no-fuss classic option. Bring your family, friends and neighbors along to play and if you need to take a mid-day “therapy” break we’ll write you a note.
