White Pine

17 degrees and about 4 inches of fluffy fresh snow on the trails this morning. Cold new snow and fresh corduroy on top will make a great combination for your ski day.

We’ll be regrooming the the entire network this morning starting with the 5k and 3k trails. All 22km of trails are open for skiing today. Enjoy a steamy mug before you head out with your mittens, beanie and buff. We have miles of fresh classic track and skate lanes this morning with a creamy cappuccino foam to start your day. You’ll glide best with blue wax and iron-in cold powder again today. Grip wax will be blue today with slightly warming temperatures in the afternoon. The dog loop is open and running joyfully through the field. The Farm is a fee area for skiing. No walking, dogs, running, cycling or trespassing on the trails. Park in the new Meadows Drive trailhead lot or better yet, ski the entire 15km loop from the Nordic Center. Classic skiing will be exceptionally good today and skate will be a little soft to start it you’re not waxed, and quite good as the day goes on. A good universal liquid or paste wax on your fish scale classic skis (tip to tail) is always a great way to keep them gliding. Skin skis are a fantastic no-fuss classic option if hard wax isn’t your shot of espresso.

Bring your loved ones, friends and neighbors along to play in the snow and if you need to take a mid-day “physical and/or mental therapy” break we’ve got a trail for you. Drop off your skis when you’re finished for a refreshing overnight spa treatment. Please purchase AND display your trail pass to access our trails. Take some long laps with Joy, share the trail with everyone and glide smoothly along those grooves and ridges! Thank you for being part of our amazing ski community and supporting long-winded trail reports. Grab that beanie, your buff, your good gloves, tighten up those laces, clamp on your bindings and play!
