Not quite what we had hoped for from the first wave of this storm. The overnight high of 43 didn’t help much. As of Friday morning, there is some corduroy on Main and a few other loops, but skiing is NOT recommended. Skate steps will absolutely push down to turf or pavement repeatedly. Skiing Mitten, with Skate or Classic, will certainly put your skis in hard contact with cartpaths. If you are really needing to ski at Mtn Dell today, consider rock skis on the ungroomed areas. Ski damage is guaranteed anywhere else. Forecast is a little more encouraging for Friday night, and we will be back at it Saturday morning to provide you with the best track we can produce. Thanks.
