A bit more snow fell overnight but it seems to be over and clearing. Maybe another 2 inches of colder snow on a firm surface. Great snow and conditions for classic and skate today. Conditions may change during the day as the temperatures warm just a little. All trails are open and groomed. The 3k and 5k will be ready first, the Dog Loop, Farm and Armstrong will be groomed next. Red wax will be working well today.
Be aware of icy sidewalks and use the handrails on the stairs. It’s winter out there. Please drive safely, walk with care in your ski boots and ski with Joy! Purchase your pass and wear it please. Please continue to be aware, be careful and ski within your abilities. PLEASE ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips and park smart helps! Come play in the snow, greet your fellow skiers and have another beautiful and Joyful ski day!
The Wasatch Citizens Series individual skate race will be at Mountain Dell on Saturday 2/24! Registration closes at Midnight tonight at utahnordic. org Just in time snow arrival! Age group distances of 1,2,3,5 and 10km. Kids start at 10:00 am, Adults at ~10:20. Bib pick up ends at 9:30 so the volunteer race crew can be ready for the start. Please carpool!
