Mill Creek is an out and back with over 1000 ft of elevation gain over 3.5 miles. The lower section of the ski trail gets a lot of foot traffic, but the upper section (above Elbow Fork) is generally very quiet. Frequent grooming, with skate and classic tracks set.
Groomers post conditions updates each time they groom. Expect fresh grooming at least twice each week.
The daily fee is $5.00 per car. A yearly pass is $50.00.
Dogs must be leashed on even-numbered days and may be off leash on odd-numbered days. This is for all trails in Mill Creek Canyon. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all trail heads and developed sites including parking areas.

MillCreek is on the east side of Salt Lake County, at approximately 3800 South. To get to the trailhead, drive approximately five miles up MillCreek Canyon Road to the winter gate.
