White Pine

A couple of inches of fresh snow on top of the trails this morning. A nice refresh for your skiing fun. Blue wax for grip and glide all day today. It will be a little breezy and cold this morning out on the trails so bundle up. A mid-winter day! We’re grooming the 3k, 5k and Armstrong with fresh classic and resurfaced skate lanes on everything. A soft creamy surface on top (whole milk foam on the latte scale) and a firm track below. The dog loop is open and running through the snow. The Farm is still awaiting some snow depth but we will continue some prep work there as the wind subsides. Thank you for your patience with this most interesting winter we’ve been having.

Classic skiing will be very good today and skate will also be good but a bit slow in the fresh snow. Skiing will be a good activity today no matter the technique. A good universal liquid or paste wax on your fish scale classic skis (tip to tail) is always helpful. Skin skis will be a very good no-fuss classic option today. The most satisfying skiing will be putting your phone in silent mode and bringing your family, friends and neighbors along for the fun. Drop off your skis when you’re done for a wax spa treatment. Please purchase AND display your trail pass to access our trails. Everyone please ski with unbridled Joy, be kind to yourselves, breathe deeply and share the beautiful winter trails! Thank you for being part of our incredible community! Please ski safe, bundle up this morning and enjoy the day!

Welcome to the unofficial Community Center of Park CIty. This season is White Pine’s 47th on the Park City Golf Course and we’re proud of our 53 years as a locally owned and operated business in Park City. Shop Local, Ski Local. A proud part of the Jans family. Our partnership with Park City and the community runs deep and we are hoping it will continue. It is very rare to have such an incredible year-round community resource right in town. We’ve been getting you into the outdoors for more than 50 years!
