East Canyon highway groomed for skate from the gate to the first switchback above Affleck. It was sled (snowmobile) packed from there to the top. This work was primarily done to keep the snow packed down to a manageable level during these storms and not get stuck in too much snow by waiting. The existing consumer set classic tracks looked good to the first switchback. With only a 1/2″ expected overnight, skiing should be good earlier in the morning before it’s covered by more snow tomorrow and the next day and the next day. Loving this storm cycle.
