Springtime continues in the mountains. crispy cold mornings and warmer afternoons. blue wax early and red wax later with SPF50. All trails groomed and open with a very firm track early and slightly softer conditions as the day warms. Use caution while skiing and watch for the elk herd on the Farm. It’s been over a month now since the last significant snow and it sure would be nice to get a refresh. Maybe it’s snowdance time since Sundance has gone virtual (significantly affecting internet speeds). We still require masks indoors at the Nordic Center. Help us stay healthy and open for you.

We are looking for additional help in the store and in the service shop. Make your Nordic Center dreams a reality a few days a week. Contact Richard at the Nordic Center for details.

Monday grooming report. Paul and I groomed Sunday night on all areas for skate and classic except below Cullen’s cutoff and World Cup. Classic should be good in most areas and fair in a couple of icy spots. Skate will be very good for Monday. Expect a few very thin spots on lower Lower. Mountain Dell will be CLOSED TO ALL SKIERS starting Friday evening at 6 P.M. for race course prep. General skiing will resume around noon following conclusion of the Wasatch Citizens Series. Thanks, Jerry

Thank you everyone for a beautiful and fun race day yesterday! And thank you for traveling and parking wisely!

Today will be a repeat of yesterday on the trails minus the race. Very cold morning, warming through the day. The track has been skiing great with very firm conditions early. All trails groomed and open for your outdoor fun. Please remember that MASKS ARE STILL REQUIRED indoors at the Nordic Center. We are trying to stay healthy and open for you and for us. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Have a beautiful and safe day and we’ll see you on the trails!

Spruces was groomed Saturday afternoon for skate and classic. Conditions remain good in the canyon despite Mother Nature’s lack of help. Keep an eye out for the moose and give em some distance.

We got a trace of snow Thursday night. I groomed the trails late this afternoon, including renovating and setting a new classic track. It should ski better than the last several days. Skating should be excellent. Enjoy!

Groomed Spruces for skate and classic, and groomed Jordan Pines as well. Absolutely great conditions today. We have a mother and baby moose on the trail, please give them lots of space. If you see them on a loop, best thing to do is turn around and ski a different loop. They need lots of space, please respect them!
