Endless spring conditions continue. That means fast and firm early and getting softer the through the day as temperatures climb into the upper 30’s today. Sun and clouds predicted today. We will definitely do a better job grooming the 5k today despite the difficult grooming conditions. Watch for icy patches on walkways, parking lots and elsewhere. Remember you have ski boots on! Warm temperatures yesterday and cold early morning means we’ll have a hard packed surface underneath the crumble. Conditions may get sticky later in the day when the snow transforms. The 5km, 3km and Armstrong loops will be groomed and track set first today. The Farm and dog loop will be snowcat groomed and track set today. Come share the Joy of skiing! Blue wax early, then Red or purple and structure later is the call today again. We are open 9-5 daily. Please continue to be careful and ski within your abilities. Ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! Go play in the snow, share the adventure and enjoy what is shaping up to be another lovely Spring day!

Get your Boulder Mountain Tour race waxes in early! we’ve got a lot of race skis coming in and we want to make sure your distance races are a success! (also plan your waxing for the Birkie too)

East Canyon Hwy/SR 65 groomed Friday (1/26) evening to the top (8.6 k) for skate and classic.

Spruces

New snow. Spruces and Jordan Pines groomed this morning. Set classic around Spruces. We are only able to use the roller right now so it is a little bumpy, but not too bad. Enjoy.

Good Morning,

A semi warm overcast day so far this morning. Both the upper and lower track groomed up really well for skate. The upper track classic lanes will be reset this afternoon once it warms up more. The lower track classic lanes have been reset this morning. The snow is firm now and will soften up throughout the day.

Enjoy the Day!

Mountain Dell

All open trails groomed for skate. classic was left as is. Skating will be firm and fast this morning and will soften up as day goes by. Creek loop and lower loops are closed until we get more snow. There’s still good skiing to be had at the Dell, So come and get it while before next week’s warmup. Warm up.

Thursday storm underperformed but left some accumulation on the track, which dried out nicely a bit overnight. Two passes made early this morning to buff out the skate lane with the new accumulation and also set a new classic track. Skating should be great but a bit more new snow would have helped restore the classic tracks. They should still offer a good experience.

A little sun today and some clouds. The snow yesterday didn’t amount to much but a nice refresh on the surface. Watch for icy patches on walkways, parking lots and elsewhere. Remember you have ski boots on and slow down! Warm temperatures yesterday and cool this morning means we’ll have a mix of old and new snow on the packed surface. Grooming will make for a quite nice skating and classic surface as the day goes on. Conditions may get sticky later in the day when the snow transforms. The 5km, 3km and Armstrong loops will be groomed and track set today. The Farm and dog loop were snowcat groomed and track set yesterday. We’ll take a look and see if it needs a touch up. Come share the Joy of skiing! Red or purple and structure is the call today again. We are open 9-5 daily. Please continue to be careful and ski within your abilities.

Ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Groomed for skate and classic to Big Mountain Pass. The classic lane is ill-defined down low, despite attempts to improve it. No one was on the trail from the pass to the gate. We left at 6:30 p.m. without a single track on the fresh groom. It was already fairly firm, so with the freeze tonight, the morning should be great. Go!

Groomed the skate deck. Snowfall expected. There is a path to go through the avalanche debris but the large mound of debris and snow will remain for the remaining season.

Good Morning,

A little fresh snow has fallen on our trails. We have received about and inch of new snow. Both the upper and lower track groomed up really well for skate. The upper track classic lanes have been reset. The bottom track lanes are still holding up real well. Light snow will continue to fall throughout the day but shouldn’t deter from a great day of skiing.

Enjoy the Day!
