Groomed the following Sunday morning for classic and skate: Main, Mitten, Park Bypass, Lollipop, Boomerang and Wiggle Room. Good conditions, a few thin spots…enjoy!

White Pine

Fresh snow, cold powdery surface on top and a firm track under this morning. Smooth some blue wax on for best grip and gliding today. It’s a beautiful wintery morning with a chance of a little snow coming and going through the day. The 3km, 5km and Armstrong loops are groomed and open today with skate lane and classic track set. The dog loop is open, but a little playful in spots. The Farm is still awaiting the snowcat to arrive later this week but we are getting very close! Classic skiing will be good today and skate will also be good but a tiny bit slow today. A good universal liquid on your fish scale classic skis (tip to tail) will be helpful. better wax makes for better glide. Come ski, then drop off your skis for deeper wax refresh.

You must have a trail pass purchased and displayed to access our trails. Everyone please ski with enthusiasm, a big smile and share the trail with peaceful Joy! Lasso a friend and bring them skiing today! Thank you for being part of our amazing community! Ski safe and enjoy the day!

We have one space left in our Monday morning Women’s Skate Clinic series starting on January 6th. Give us a call at the Nordic Center to register!

Lots of new snow in this pretty canyon. Could have used more down low, but you can now use your A skis. Groomed for skate and classic to the first switchback. Sled packed a few runs to the top but will need more before we can groom without getting stuck. What a wonderful “problem.” The classic track looks crisp and clean. The skate lane looks great, but will likely be soft even after setting up tonight. Enjoy the canyon!

White Pine

Fresh snow, cold and soft on the track this morning. Smooth some blue wax on your sticks for best gliding before midday. Red wax will be from midday on. The track might get a little sticky by early afternoon. It’s a beautiful snowy morning The 3km, 5km and Armstrong loops are groomed and open today with skate lane and classic track set. The dog loop is open, but a little scruffy in spots. The Farm is still awaiting more snow but we are getting very close! Classic skiing will be good today and skate will also be good but a bit slow today. Good wax will be important today to keep gliding. A good universal liquid on your classic skis, especially on your fishscale skis (tip to tail) will be helpful. If you’re not gliding well, drop off your skis for deeper wax refresh. You must have a trail pass purchased and displayed to access our trails. Everyone please ski with enthusiasm, a big smile and share the trail with unbridled Joy! Rope in a friend and bring them skiing today! Thank you for being part of our amazing community! Ski safe and enjoy the day!

Mountain Dell

Boy did that storm deliver! Mt. Dell received approximately 6″ of fresh snow overnight and well into the morning/early afternoon. It was coming down so fast this morning that we had a hard time keeping up with it; new snow would cover our tracks within 15 minutes… It’s a great problem to have, but it will affect the quality of the trail and your skiing today. Main, Mitten, Lollipop, Boomerang, Wiggle Room, and Park Road Bypass have all been packed and groomed for skate. Classic was set on Main. Conditions will be very soft. Although the 6″ helped a lot, our trail at Mt. Dell is still very thin. Ski with caution, use rock skis, and don’t go full Klæbo. The classic track that was set on Main is mediocre at best (I set it so I’m allowed to say it). With some more time, and hopefully some more snow over the next few days, we’ll be able to set more classic and open more trail for everyone to enjoy.

Spruces

Get your powder skis out! 10+ inches have fallen at spruces in the last 12 hours. The upper and lower loops along with Jordan Pines were groomed today, but expect very soft conditions as snow is still falling. There is no classic track set as we wait for this storm to move through before cleaning things up. Enjoy the fresh snow!

Jeremy Ranch

Good Morning,

We’re finally open! We’ve been able to groom the upper trail for skate only. Be careful as you ski the upper trail as there is windblow areas with patches of snow. We will try to set the classic later on the upper trail once the snow dies off a bit. The lower trail is currently being groomed for skate and the classic will be reset. Only holes #6 & #7 will be groomed unless we are able to continue further into the track. We have orange cones to mark off where the track currently ends. Please do not ski past that point. Please call back for updates later as we may have been able to groom more on the lower trail and can remove the orange cones. Snow conditions are soft and windblown in areas so be cautious while skiing today.

Our Jeremy Ranch Nordic Night is just around the corner. Wednesday, January 8th we will be hosting an evening loaded with Nordic activities. Starting at 5:00pm we will have a TOKO wax clinic with Jason Travis, followed by an Atomic Product Showcase and Fittings with Sandy Brown. The evening will conclude with a Q and A with Olympian Taylor Fletcher. This will be a great way to kick off the Nordic season and get you ready for a fantastic ski year. It is complimentary to attend!! We look forward to seeing you on January 8th!!

The forecast looks hopeful for us to have enough to work with on Saturday. We will be starting later than usual to let the snow pile up a bit. Expect no grooming before 10 A.M. Saturday, and machines on course into the early afternoon. Conditions will be soft. Expect forceful skate pushes to cut all the way down to pavement all day Saturday. Ski with caution, especially if you choose to skate.

Millcreek

Crew groomed this morning for skate and set classic track. Track was difficult to set from Winter Gate to Elbow Fork, but came together nicely from Elbow Fork to Upper Big Water. Enjoy!

Jeremy Ranch

Good Morning,

We’re finally open! We’ve been able to groom the upper trail for skate only. We tried to set the classic on the upper trail but the snow was still too thin in spots. It needs a bit more snow before we can set it. The lower trail was groomed for skate and the classic lanes were set. Only holes #6 & #7 have been groomed at this time. We have orange cones to mark off where the track currently ends. Please do not ski past that point. Snow conditions are firm now but will soften throughout the day as it gets warmer.
