SR 65/East Canyon Hwy groomed Friday evening 2/16 for classic and skate from winter gate to first switchback (3.2 mi). Grooming conditions were challenging so we didn’t get to the top, as we’d hoped, but finished product looked like it should provide excellent skiing.

Roch and John groomed Friday night shortly after the storm had passed. 2-3” of damp new snow had fallen during the afternoon. All open loops were groomed for skate and classic and should be great skiing following colder overnight temps. You will notice some bumpy spots remain from the herculean effort the groom team is making to import snow. Also note, classic was not set in a few of the melt prone areas. The lower loop is now open, at least to Swanson’s cutoff. We will continue to attemp to open additional terrain as temps and snow fall allow. Enjoy the weekend skiing.

Mountain Dell

Good morning. As we limp through this winter of marginal, Nordic skiing conditions I’m happy to report that mountain. Dell is still up and running. This morning skating conditions will be pretty darn good overall but unfortunately classic is marginal. Conditions will remain good unless it gets too warm, and then it will start to be slushy but for now it’s fast and firm.open areas are main mitten boomerang and lollipop. Have a good day.

Just a trace of snow yesterday. But it was cold last night and the skate lane has been groomed with two passes this morning to buff it out. Looks like skating will be excellent today with a bit of loose snow on a firm base. Classic track still in place, a bit worn out here and there but holding up well.

Happy US XC World Cup weekend! What a day yesterday! Another 8 inches of wet snow fell most of the day. Thats over 14 inches in two days. It was expected to stop by mid-afternoon but it didn’t. We groomed the 3k and 5k three times yesterday to try to stay top if it. That hard work should make for really nice smooth skiing today! Great snow and conditions for classic. Skate will be a workout with the soft and fresh surface. All trails are open and we are planning on grooming all trails today. 3 and 5k first, the Farm and Armstrong we’ll get to after. They are a lot of work with these conditions. Trails are soft with the new foot of snow. Please drive safely, walk with care in your ski boots and ski with Joy! Please purchase your pass and wear it. Red/Blue or purple wax for kick and glide today with the fresh snow and moderate temperatures.

Please continue to be aware, be careful and ski within your abilities. It is the start of a busy holiday weekend, PLEASE ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips and park smart helps! Come play in the new snow, share the adventures, say hello to your fellow skiers and have another Joyful winter ski day!

Good Morning,

It’s a Winter Wonderland this morning! We have received almost 6 inches of new snow. The groomers are currently out finishing the morning groom as the snow continues to fall. The lower and upper trails are groomed for skate and classic but persistent snow is filling the lanes. They will try and head back out to regroom once the snow stops. It is setting up to be a great weekend of skiing! Enjoy the new snow.

Have a great day,

Another snowy start to our day in Park CIty! It’s the winter we’ve been waiting for! No holiday lift lines today. Snowing moderately at 7am, but it is expected to stop by mid-afternoon. More wet snow on top of yesterday’s 4 inches should make for really nice smooth skiing today! Great snow and conditions for classic. Skate will be a workout with the soft and fresh surface. All trails are open and we are grooming on all 22km again today. 3 and 5k first, the farm after the snow stops for the day. Trails will be filling in during the day until the snow tapers off. Trails are firm under the new snow but will be soft with almost 8 inches in two days.

Please drive safely, walk with care in your ski boots and ski with Joy! Please purchase your pass and wear it. Red/Blue or purple wax for kick and glide today with the fresh snow and moderate temperatures. Please continue to be aware, be careful and ski within your abilities.

Ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Groomed Main, Mitten, Lollipop, and Boomerang for skate Thursday morning. Good conditions everywhere except Mitten, which due to a few thin spots is “fair”. Kids Cutoff and Wiggle Room may look skiable but are closed due to thin/missing snow.
