The new year brought a trace of new snow keeping the track plenty skiable, albeit limited to grooming the Main loop only.
Watch for a few thin or icy spots – otherwise bring in the new year at Mountain Dell.

Happy New Year! Fresh corduroy and some limited classic track set this morning at Spruces. No classic on western/lower loop. As of 9a, loads of parking available. Enjoy!

3k skiing well, 5k good, ski with caution near construction areas. cold hard track in the morning, warmer later. Happy New Year! Ski safe and stay healthy

I’m glad that year is over.
1/4 to 1/2 inch snow fell New Years Eve Day. The Main only was groomed for skate New Years Eve. Classic was left alone. The skate conditions should be fairly nice New Years morning despite limited trail and v/minimal depth.

aa little fresh dusting on the track overnight. 3k is skate and classic, 5k is skate and about 60% with classic track. great conditions and have a safe New Years Eve!

MountaIn Dell Was groomed Wednesday night. Multiple laps were made on the Main Loop after snow was blown onto the track by the Groomers Chris Magerl and Jerry RIchardson Wednesday Afternoon. Areas of very firm snow still exist in some areas, please use caution.
The mitten has been closed due to low snow conditions.
White Pine
3k good with skate and classic. Still thin so be careful. 5k open for skate. Ski with caution near the construction areas
Mountain Dell
Just finishing some work on Main. Good skate surface, acceptable classic. Other loops not recommended. Sunny and nice for an afternoon ski.
Ruby’s Inn / Bryce Canyon
Trails were groomed yesterday for classic and skate skiing. We have about 12 miles groomed.

Groomed for skate to the top of Big Mountain. Reduced the icy tracks from the gate to the restroom. Quite nice from there to the top. Classic from the gate to the restroom not reset due to conditions and attempting to reset could have made them worse. Classic reset from restroom to the top was good in some places and ill-defined in others. All things considered, the skiing is quite good.
Millcreek
Groomed today. From Trailhead to Elbow Fork trail is hard packed with minimal classic track left. From Elbow Fork to Upper Big Water softer conditions with classic track set
Jeremy Ranch
Upper 2.5k and Lower 4.5k are groomed for skate with the classic set this morning. 1″ of new snow from yesterday. Pretty good coverage overall with a few thin spots.
Mountain Dell
Groomed Main, Mitten, and Boomerang early this morning with several passes on each loop. A good day to skate ski. Classic track was not reset. Overall, conditions are thin and firm. Temperature at 9:00am was 16 degrees.
Update for Brock’s report this morning. I skied this morning and although coverage is thin and I had to avoid “non-snow” in a few places, there were also quite a few spots that were icy enough to make for challenging conditions. IMHO not the best conditions for less experienced skiers. steve
