Good Morning,
We received about 5 inches of fresh snow overnight! We were able to groom for skate and set the classic on the entire 4.5km lower track. We also groomed for skate and reset the classic on the upper track. The snow conditions are soft and the temperature should be pretty mild all day. There is some more snow coming that will hopefully help with the overall coverage of all the trails.

Weather and conditions: Currently 32 F and cloudy. It will be cloudy throughout the day and a little windy. Todays high is 41.
Ski Trails Report: We groomed up a nice loop including Spin & Grin, City Slicker, East End and Stadium/Hollow area.
Solitude Nordic
All trails groomed this morning. Classic tracks set everywhere expect the Redman loops. 6″ of new snow since yesterday, so trails will be quite soft for skating. 29° at 8am, high of 34° with light snow and wind throughout the day.
White Pine
31 degrees and 3 inches of fresh snow this morning. All 20km are open, it will be soft and slow this morning with the fresh and wet snow. It snowed most of the day yesterday. We were just high enough in elevation to be in the snow band. It was raining not far away. The snow bunnies should be happy today in the fresh snow. We’ll be doing a roller pack and light touch grooming for skate and classic today. Classic will be good today. Conditions will be staying slow and soft through most of the day with the fresh snow. Watch for a couple of icy areas from all the moisture that has been in the snow from last week. Skiing should be pretty good all day for skate and classic. Stay flexible, aware and ski with Joy!
The 5km, 3km and Armstrong loops will be groomed first today. The Farm and Dog Loop will be rolled and packed to compress the surface but not track set after the core trails are finished. If you go out to the Farm, ski with care and enjoy the arrival of winter. The trails will be soft and it will be quite a workout.
Please purchase your pass and wear it. Watch for elk on the Farm. Red/purple wax and structure today. Please continue to be aware, careful and ski within your abilities. Ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! Saturday’s Wasatch Citizens Series Classic race will be held at the Farm at White Pine Touring Nordic Center. Parking is available at St’ Mary’s Church, Meadows Drive and the Farm Trailhead across the highway (walk through the tunnel to get to the trails for the race) The social hall and indoor restrooms will not be available for warming and registration this week because of a prior reservation at the church. They are accommodating us on short notice and be sure to give them a huge thank you for being so supportive of the ski community. Bib pick up and portapotties will be in the parking lot of the church Saturday morning beginning at 8:30 am.

Grooming is on hold at Mtn Dell as we go through another dose of rain and warm temperatures. With some luck we will be back at it Thursday.
Fairview
Returned to a few inches of new snow on the track after what looks like some warm weather with rain. Track was groomed this morning for both skate and classic though there are some thin and bare spots in a couple places especially for classic. Otherwise good conditions.

Here comes the weather! The lower track is only open for 1.1km of skate and classic we had to close down the rest of the track until we receive more snow. The upper track is groomed for skate. There are some bare areas on the upper track that have been marked with cones so please be cautious while skiing. Along with a few icy spots that will begin to soften as temperatures rise through out the day.

30 degrees and snow with some breeze at 7 am with about an inch of fresh snow this morning. All 22km are open. Yesterday was cold and sunny and so very good. Both skate and classic were amazing. Conditions will be staying slow, soft and then firm through the day under the fresh snow. Watch for a couple of icy areas from all the moisture that was in the snow from last week. Skiing should be pretty good all day for skate and classic. Stay flexible, aware and ski with Joy! The 5km, 3km and Armstrong loops will be groomed first today with yesterday’s very good classic still set. The Farm and Dog Loop will be groomed later if needed. The Farm was really good yesterday and we may just let it sit on the surface to make the skating nice. Ski the Farm with care and enjoy the arrival of winter. Please purchase your pass and wear it. The Wasatch Citizens Series classic race schedule for Saturday will be moved to the Farm at White Pine due to low snow conditions at Mountain Dell. Details to follow later today at on this website.

Mountain Dell
Main loop groomed skate only Sunday evening. All other loops do not currently have sufficient coverage for regrooming. Classic track also not reset due to the thin conditions. Overall in decent condition although the base ice layer is exposed in some sections – ski with caution.

Snow is in the forecast for this week, so fingers crossed we receive enough throughout the week to reopen more kilometers of trails.

Currently 18F and partly cloudy. It is expected to sunny with high of 40F and calm winds. All open trails have been groomed within the last few days or so. There is a dusting of fresh snow on top of last nights groom. Conditions will continue to be spring-like = firm and fast in the morning and softening throughout the day.
Mountain Dell
Greg and Oliver groomed Sunday morning. Skate cleaned up well and should ski great today. Classic is OK. Main, Mitten and Boomerang only. Multiple asphalt patches opened up on Lollipop, so skiing it is not recommended. Enjoy!
