As of 6 A.M. Thursday, Mark and Nils are working the 2.5 inches for skate and classic on Main, Mitten, Kids Lollipop, Creek and Boomerang. Snow is still falling, so expect a bit of fluff on top when you ski today, but don’t expect soft conditions. The past two days have been mostly firm (not Creek). Lot is being plowed, but it is very slippery underneath. Use caution in parking and walking to the course. TUNA Relay Saturday at 10 A.M., all welcome to join in the low-key relay race. 3K loops, classic/skate/skate. If you don’t want to be a part of that, best to ski after noon Saturday. Enjoy!

More new fluffy snow last 24 hours. I thought it best to simply roll the track today and continue to develop a good base. Good decision. It is ready for skaters but no new track. If there is no new snow, or just a bit, by Thursday, I will re groom the skate lane and set a track. Conditions are excellent with this favorable weather pattern and colder temps.

Good Morning,

The Upper and Lower tracks have been groomed and classic lanes have been set. We have received 4 inches of new snow since yesterday with flurries predicted throughout the day. Conditions should remain a little soft but the skiing will be good. Colder temps will allow the tracks to set up nicely this evening and continue throughout the week.

Stop into the Nordic Center and get set up with your Nordic Season Pass and have a look around at our Nordic equipment from Atomic and new apparel from Odlo!!

Have a great ski day!

East Canyon Hwy (SR65) groomed this evening for skate and classic to first switchback (5k). Expect soft conditions—especially if snow continues overnight. One-man crew with lots of snow on first groom effort, so there’s more work to be done, but it’s a start to what’s promising to be a good season. Work continuing tomorrow afternoon.

We worked today on packing trail down. Also, groomed and set track but it was still snowing when we finished. Soft conditions. Will groom again tomorrow

Today I groomed the course with the Tidd Tech after yesterday’s roll. And (drum roll please) it was the maiden voyage for the Tidd Tech integrated track setter. So we’re now groomed for skate and classic. Out on the driving range there are some weeds that stick up through the track but no rocks. Classic track occasionally (rarely) breaks through to grass as well. Steady light snow today and that may continue for another 24 hours.

It is entirely possible that the Farm will quietly open this afternoon. Please wait until we put the “open” sign up. until then, 3k, 5k, Armstrong and Connector are all delightful with a couple fresh inches of snow overnight. Great classic skiing! Soft conditions but so nice.

Come and see us and get your gear before it’s all gone! Tourists are starting this weekend for the 4 week holiday season. Technically it’s still Autumn, but it certainly doesn’t look like it!

Good Morning,

The Upper and Lower tracks have been groomed and classic lanes have been set. We have received about 2 inches of new snow since the overnight and it should persist throughout the day into tomorrow morning. Conditions should remain a little soft but the skiing will be great. Colder temps will allow the tracks to set up nicely and continue throughout the week.

Main, lollipop, boomerang, and creek were groomed this morning. We groomed for skate and classic was reset. In the last 24hrs, we received about 5-6″ of snow. Conditions are soft, but beautiful. Grooming finished up at about 8:30, it was snowing and we hope to see a couple more inches throughout the day. Mitten and all of lower were closed this morning to allow for a crew to move new snow to cover thin areas. Please avoid the areas that are closed to allow our crew to safely improve the track. Cheers, Brock and Dan.
