Mountain Dell is Salt Lake County’s sole skiers-only trail, groomed daily by TUNA volunteers. Mountain Dell offers about 10K of trails of varied difficulty, groomed for skate and classic.
This is watershed. Dogs are never allowed on course or in cars in the parking lot.
Day fee is $10, payable at the fee post or through Venmo or PayPal apps. Skiers under 18 years old or 70+ ski free.
As of 9 A.M. Friday, Gary and Dru are just finishing up this morning’s Mountain Dell groom. We are opening Creek today, first time this winter! Lower to Swanson’s is open, too. Fresh skate and classic on all the standards, including Main, Mitten, Bypass, Kids Cutoff, Boomerang, Wiggle Room and Lollipop. No classic track on Creek. Several days of snow has the course looking great.
Mountain Dell will be closed to all skiers starting at 6 P.M. tonight, Friday, Feb. 21, for race course prep. We will host the Wasatch Citizens Series 10K Skate race on Saturday morning, Feb. 22. There will be no non-race skiing permitted until about 12:30 P.M. on Saturday. Thank you.
