Mountain Dell is Salt Lake County’s sole skiers-only trail, groomed daily by TUNA volunteers. Mountain Dell offers about 10K of trails of varied difficulty, groomed for skate and classic.
This is watershed. Dogs are never allowed on course or in cars in the parking lot.
Day fee is $10, payable at the fee post or through Venmo or PayPal apps. Skiers under 18 years old or 70+ ski free.
We plan to groom Sunday morning, and then, in accordance with our city contract, it is time to pack up all of the Mountain Dell grooming tools. The skiing was fun today on the limited track. For Sunday morning, we anticipate having portions of Main, Bypass, Boomerang and Wiggle Room in play. No classic track set, but the classic was fun today just the same. From the start of the course, ski backward on Main to Bypass. At the far end of Main there is a turn-around, making Main an out-and-back. Use caution crossing the cart paths. They should be obvious.
