East Canyon Hwy/SR 65 groomed for skate and classic as far as the first switchback (5.2k) this afternoon. We hoped to push the track to the top but had equipment trouble. Stay tuned — we’ll get to it soon.

East Canyon Hwy/ Hwy 65 freshened up for skate to the top this morning/afternoon. As in recent days, results suggested that reset of classic would not yield any improvement, so not attempted.

Headed up to groom this morning. One-man crew (and the ever-present potential of machines) may limit quantity and quality of grooming achieved a little, but conditions are ripe for good track making.

East Canyon was groomed today. Classic and skate set to the first switchback. Both looked very good. (Judging from the smiles and thumbs up from skiers it must be good!) Preliminary skate set above switchback. Enjoy!

Heads up for considerations for your Saturday fun. Work began at 9:00 a.m., with plans to groom to Big Mountain pass for skate and classic. It takes several hours, but head up now before it gets buggered up by non-skiers.
