All trails groomed for skate and classic. A little icy this morning, softening up throughout the day. 14° at 8:00am, high of 33°.
Mountain Dell
The track continues to ski well in spite of the dry spell. Hat’s off to our snowmaking team keeping the thin spots, well….. thick. All skate loops were groomed and will ski fast and firm. The lower is now open to Cullen’s cutoff. No classic lanes were reset due to melt thaw but are in reasonable shape. Escape the haze as the days get longer.
Deer Hollow Winter Recreation Area
All trails at Deer Hollow Winter Rec. Area on UT-14 east of Cedar City were groomed yesterday (Jan. 13) on about 4 feet of nice snow, and the parking lot was plowed out. The area has about 4 feet of snow.

White Pine
Repeat. Gorgeous cold morning, warmer in the afternoon. All trails groomed and open. Skating should be fantastic this morning! Please purchase AND display your trail pass. Your track fees help keep us open. As per Summit County regulation, MASKS MUST BE WORN INDOORS AT ALL TIMES. Help keep us healthy so we can stay open and grooming for you.

Mountain Dell
Trials groomed last night for skate included Main, Mitten, Lower to Cullen’s, Lollipop, Creek, Boomerang, Wiggle Room, Kid’s Cutoff and Park Bypass. With snow moving operations completed on Thursday, everything is in really good shape and skiing should be good to excellent on Friday. Classic was not reset due to firm conditions but is in fair to good condition. Enjoy the skiing and the MLK weekend.
Spruces
Spruces was groomed today for both skate and classic. Just a reminder to some folks about a couple things, we have a new big map up at the start of Milts Loops, as well as a digital version on the Spruces page of this TUNA website. We also have 12 interpretive signs up around the campground that tell the history of the area. Finally, if you are feeling adventurous, you can take the single track trail at the back of Max’s Loop over to Jordan. There is a steep hill down to the campground, so be careful and snowplow down. Groomed and Set Classic Track this afternoon. The Classic Track did not set well from trailhead to Elbow Fork however, above Elbow Fork Classic Track set is great

The following areas at Mountain Dell were groomed last night: Main, Mitten, Lower to Cullen’s Cut Off, Lollipop, Wiggle Room, Boomerang, Kids Cut Off and Park Bypass groomed for skate. Classic was reset on Main, Mitten, Kids Cut Off and and Lollipop. Lower below Cullen’s remains closed. Creek is open but was not groomed. Coverage is excellent and conditions are good despite the lack of new snow. Its a great day to be out on skis. Enjoy!
