We have received two light snowfalls the last 48 hours so track was rolled today to compact the new snow. Very nice skating surface but no track set today. More snow expected late today and tonight so be patient as we continue to keep the track packed and the base firm. Expect more grooming New Year’s Eve based on forecast of snow.

Limited new snow overnight but conditions are good. The following trails were groomed this morning for skate and classic: Main, mitten, lollipop, wiggle room, boomerang, kids cut-off, park road and lower to Swanson’s cut-off. Its sunny and breezy and the skiing is enjoyable. More snow expected later today. Get out in the sunshine and enjoy the snow!

Solitude trails groomed for classic and skating. 9″ of new snow. 23° @0730. Might be a little soft, but nice in the trees.
Mountain Dell
After a half inch of light snow this morning all open trails were groomed for skate and classic. Conditions are getting better but we still need more snow in order to open Creek and Lower. Looks like some storms are moving in later this week, which should push us in the right direction.
Fairview
Trails were groomed 12/28 for classic and skating. There has been some snow since but it should ski well anyway with a bit of soft stuff on top.
Spoiler alert: the locals do not always understand the work that goes into ski trail upkeep and some clown drove on a short stretch of the track yesterday….it will smooth out the next time I groom. More snow expected next 24 hours so next grooming will depend on timing and snow amounts. Thanks for reading.

Another beautiful winter day at White Pine. Everything groomed and wonderful. It has been tremendously busy, so patience and a little friendliness goes a long way. Masks are required indoors. SR-65
SR 65 (East Canyon Highway) groomed this afternoon for skate and classic to the first switchback (3.2 mi.).
Conditions may be a bit soft for the last mile or so, i.e. above Affleck Park.

Ruby’s Inn / Bryce Canyon
Both sides of Highway 63 have been groomed for classic and skate skiing. There are thin patches, especially close to the access points and along the rim of the canyon so please be aware. We still need more snow to make our trails great but we are ready for skiing.
Spruces
Groomed this morning. Was snowing lightly most of the day, probably will be light snow on top of a groomed track today. More snow hopefully this week. I put up a new big map at the junction of Milt’s Loops and the Practice Loop, check it out!

With 5-6” inches of new snow, the conditions are great. This morning we groomed main, mitten, park cutoff, kids cutoff, lollipop, and the lollipop stem. Creek loop was sled packed, but remains closed. Classic track was reset on most groomed trails. Have a great time out there and enjoy all the new snow.
