Good morning from White Pine! Very cold this morning (-4F) but looking like a beautiful Winter day! All trails groomed and open. Please help us stay open and healthy. MASKS ARE REQUIRED INDOORS AT THE NORDIC CENTER. Also, please do not drive your motor vehicles on the ski trails even if your GPS tells you to…. Just don’t do it. Really… The Park City Police have been super nice and we’re all highly amazed at your decision making skills, but just don’t drive your Florida registered SUV on to the trails, especially toward a group of skiers. You will get stuck and publicly humiliated. So remember, DO NOT drive your vehicle on the ski trails. Ever.

Temperatures in the negatives early this morning making the snow temps very cold and slow. Groomed for skate today. Everything groomed besides mid and big redman.

Happy New Year! 2022 has arrived very cold and crisp. All trails groomed today. Conditions will be full-on midwinter and a bit slow early due to the cold temps. Finally a chance to break out those cold waxes. Layer up and ski safe! Please purchase and display your trail pass. Your trail fees help pay for all that sweet grooming! MASKS ARE REQUIRED INDOORS. Happy New Year! Fairview again got a major snowfall Thursday night, approaching 12″. The trails were rolled Friday 12/31 to compact the new snow. My goal is to groom again today and set a track. Beware that as of Friday, there was no plowing into the trailhead so if you ski, be prepared to park by the pool or office area and walk in.

Snow Conditions: Packed powder, working on getting entire system groomed; as of 1030am 3/4 of the trails are groomed

Biking: Deer Creek Parkway and Cascade springs road. New this season: No fatbiking on ski or snowshoe trails please.
Events: Last day of Biathlon Junior World Trials: Today’s race is on the Sprint Loop in the morning, so that will be closed to the public, but all other trails are open. Guests are welcome to watch from the trails outside the closure area (trail pass needed) or to WALK from the lodge under the tunnel and see the start finish area/range from the Competition building. LL Bean National Championships and super Tour cross country FIS race coming up on Sunday – Sprint Loop will be closed all day, as it will the 4th, 6th and 7th.
Big Mountain groomed for classic and skate to the first switchback. Good classic and obviously soft skate. The sun is out, so come have fun and help pack the snow further. Happy New Year!

Great grooming conditions this morning with about 10 inches of medium density snow. Gorgeous classic tracks and corduroy set for skate after sledpacking. Conditions a bit soft. Main, abbreviated Mitten, LolliPop, Kid’s Cutoff and Park Road groomed by 10AM. Additional sledpacking, snowblowing and grooming in progress so exercise caution around machinery. Happy New Years!!

On hold regarding grooming until Rocky Mountain Power finishes their work on down power lines in the upper canyon. This morning crews were using equipment to access upper canyon on the ski trail

Happy New Years Eve! Trails have not been groomed today so snowshoe only because of the two feet of new snow that fell last night. Working on getting the groomer ready for tomorrow so please check back with us by phone, this grooming report, or our website for grooming information.
White Pine
Happy New Year’s Eve! About 12 inches of fresh snow overnight. We’ll be grooming the 5k and 3k first with the rest to follow. By mid-morning we should have most everything knocked down. The Farm will be the last piece groomed. We’ll be closing at 4 today. Everyone stay safe and check road conditions BEFORE you go. MASKS ARE REQUIRED INSIDE THE STORE. We are working very hard to stay healthy and open for business. Do your part to keep us open.

A good day to classic. As of 6:30a Friday, there is a measured 9-10 inches, showing the limitations of the current snowcam stake location. Snow will fall all day, Expect machinery on all loops at all times today. Course will be soft all day.

We have received two light snowfalls the last 48 hours so track was rolled today to compact the new snow. Very nice skating surface but no track set today. More snow expected late today and tonight so be patient as we continue to keep the track packed and the base firm. Expect more grooming New Year’s Eve based on forecast of snow.
