Groomed upper Spruces loops today. Unfortunately, am suspending lower loop grooming until we get more snow. Too many rocks and such. Upper loops are still covered pretty well. Have fun!

NO PARKING ON THAYNES CANYON DRIVE UNTIL THE PARK CITY COUNCIL DETERMINES THE FATE OF THE OFF-STREET PARKING. It has been in use for 30 years and we are hoping to get it back. Feel free to contact members of the Park City Council and Mayors Office if you are in favor of a quick resolution to the parking issue. They will have another chance to approve the latest plan on Dec 8th.
PLEASE CARPOOL, USE TRANSIT, WALK OR BIKE TO THE NORDIC CENTER. THE SURFACE PARKING AT THE HOTEL PARK CITY IS AVAILABLE AS IS THE UNDERGROUND, BUT CHECK YOUR CLEARANCE BEFORE YOU PULL IN. PATIENCE AND POSITIVITY PLEASE.

Spruces
Hi folks, welcome to a new season of skiing at Spruces. Dave and I groomed this morning. Upper loops we were able to use the ginzu groomer and get some good results. Lower loops still have pavement, dirt and rocks in a couple places. I only could use the single track groomer over there, so it is rougher. Jordan Pines connector still has dirt so we need some time before grooming. Have fun this weekend, see you out there.

Welcome back Nordic Skiers! We got very lucky with the storms in early November and the skiing is very good up here. I groomed this evening for skate skiing and put down some classic tracks on Milt’s Loops. Lower Spruces was groomed by Matt and Dave last week. We need more snow to get a good result with the groomer down there.

We currently are waiting on more snow before we open our trail system. 25% of our tracks follow our cart parts which are 100% clear right now!
We hope to open around December 1st. Our Season passes for the track will go on sale December 1st as well!

Well, that’s a wrap. Pavement showing on north side of upper loop prevents a full groom. We are finished grooming for the year. There is still plenty of snow up there to ski on, and fresh snow next week could make for nice classic skiing. However, grooming operations are concluded. Thanks for a good season!
