Good morning nordic- skiing enthusiasts! Spruces rolled last night and also again this morning. No classic track, but with the accumulating snow, it will be easy to make your own tracks. Skating will be excellent.

East Canyon groomed tonight. Skate set to Big Mountain. Classic set to the 1st switchback.
First few hundred feet from gate may be a bit icy tomorrow. (Hard to forecast exactly what the track will be like after a freeze tonight?) But after the initial start skiing should be good tomorrow.

The Mountain Dell was groomed this morning. The only loops open are Main, Kid’s, Boomerang and Lolli-Top. The conditions are Fair at best. At approximately 8am it was starting to snow. The track was only groomed for skate, icy areas exist and the snow surface will be wet.
Spruces
Groomed the Upper, Lower, and Pavilion Loops this morning. Did not set classic track this morning due to some mechanical difficulties. Conditions were a bit warm, but should be getting fresh snow tomorrow! Have fun.
Deer Hollow Winter Recreation Area
The Deer Hollow Nordic ski area near Cedar City has been packed and groomed using the small groomer and the corrugated roller. We plan to groom the 20Km of trails with the large state parks snow-cat groomer on Thursday Feb. 4. The area now has about 3 feet of snow with more predicted.

a beautiful morning with a chance of snow later. Cold firm track this morning on the 5k, 3k, Farm, Armstrong and Connector. water is coming back on the dog loop so use caution. Ski with care on the farm and note the couple patches that might require your attention while skiing. Please purchase and display your trail pass or drop some money in the fee box on the Farm. Good Morning! Mountain Dell was groomed last night. We laid down new corduroy for skating on Main, Mitten, Lower to Cullens, Kids cutoff, Lollipop, Creek Loop, Boomerang and Wiggle Room. The Monday Groom Crew set such a beautiful classic track it was not necessary to reset. Coverage is good everywhere. Best conditions will be early today as temps are supposed to get up to almost 50F. Enjoy!
