Sun is out, wind is calm. 5-6″ fell overnight. All loops groomed for skate and classic except lower loop. Conditions will remain soft throughout the day but will firm up as more skiers pass.
Use caution walking across the parking lot – it’s an ice rink. Enjoy some great weekend skiing. Roch and Leanne

Groomed Upper, Lower, and Pavilion Loops this morning. Set classic track on Upper and Lower loops. Little bit of snow last night. Really beautiful conditions this morning, sun came out around 11:00. More snow coming tonight. Get out and ski! Don’t forget to take your time and stop to look at the beautiful streams and trees in the campground. How about a Forest Fun fact: the first Larch trees in Utah were planted around 1913 in the Spruces Campground – can you find them while you are skiing? Have fun!

Beautiful warm morning. Plenty of new snow yesterday maybe more this afternoon. 3k, 5k and Armstrong groomed and track set. Farm should be ready mid morning. Dog loop is open now that the water has been diverted. Thank you Park City for helping out with the sandbags. Dog loop is the only part of our network that does not require a pass. All other trails require” pay and display” of your trail pass. Thank you for your cooperation and reminding others that all of this takes time and effort to happen.

Thursday evening we groomed the following trails for skate and classic. Main, Minor Mitten, Lower to Swanson’s Cutoff, Boomerang, Lollipop, and the Creek Loop. We also groomed the World Cup Loop for skate only but it is currently not recommended. It may exceed it’s double black diamond rating tomorrow.
Track looking good, hoping it cools enough tonight to set it. Hoping as well we get more snow tomorrow night.

Fresh skate and classic set Wednesday night by Mark and Nils on Main, Mitten, Lower to Swanson’s Cut-off, Kids’ Cut-off, Park Road Bypass, Boomerang and Lolli-top. Fresh skate on Creek and Lolli-handle. Should be good conditions, but wind in the teens might cause a bit of drifting in all day.

high winds and snow this morning. bundle up and grab your classic skis. we have packed the 3k, 5k and Armstrong. Farm is very windy and drifted this morning. A good day for adventure skiing at the nordic center (or to bring your skis in for waxing) We will pack throughout the day as snow accumulates and update as needed. once the storm blows through it should be fantastic skiing! of course it’s fantastic in the snow too if your attitude matches the opportunity!

East Canyon highway groomed for skate to Big Mountain pass. Skiing is on a firm base covered by a couple of inches of compacted snow. Conditions are a bit softer and deeper above the first switchback. Existing classic looks good to the first switchback above Affleck Park. Snowing lightly. Good skiing.

Trails groomed this morning for skate and classic. Of course it has snowed lightly ever since so the track is a little soft but otherwise lovely snow and great skiing in Fairview. Today’s accumulation less than an inch.
