On Christmas Eve at Mountain Dell,
Tim and David worked oh so well,
Groomed all the trails with lots of care,
Except Worldcup over there,
For skate skiers, it was meant to dwell.
The snow was cold, the air was crisp,
But grooming it was not a risk,
All trails ready for X-mas day,
With caution urged on the Lower Loop way,
Where grass peeked through in a little twist.
Come Christmas morning, all will see,
Skiing at Mountain Dell will not be bland,
Classic lanes groomed with precision,
Skating trails, a nice decision,
Air temperature at 30, oh so grand.
So come on out and take a run,
Skiing at Mountain Dell can’t be outdone,

White Pine will be open 11:30am -4:00pm on Christmas Day. All trails will be groomed and we’ll have rentals and walk-in lessons available for you. The Farm Parking on Meadows drive was expertly plowed by Park City staff yesterday and should be great for your skiing and safe parking. Please remember that the Farm is a fee area and you need to purchase your pass or wear your season pass while you’re out there! Help us keep skiing affordable and friendly in Park City! Also, no dogs or bikes on the Farm, but you knew that already.

Merry Christmas Eve! We would like to thank everyone for an amazing start to the season! The upper and lower tracks have been groomed for classic and skate. The temperatures were warmer overnight so the snow will be softer throughout the day. It’s a great day to come and ski the trails at the Jeremy Ranch Nordic Center. We also have Nordic apparel from Odlo and Equipment from Atomic. Come by and grab a last minute present for your favorite skiers!
The Nordic Center will be closing at 1:00pm today and will be closed tomorrow for Christmas Day. Free Ski Day on Christmas!!

Seriously folks it’s all in good fun. All the trails are open and groomed for your skiing adventures. The Parking on Meadows for the Farm should be plowed by PC plow drivers this morning so give them a huge thank you if you see them! We love our good natured neighbors and our community. Drop in and say hi to the Nordic Center crew who work so hard to get you outside to play!
Happy Christmas Eve! We’ll be closing early today at 3:30 so plan ahead. All trails groomed and open on this lovely winter day so come and enjoy. Please park safe and legally. Thaynes parking will be roped off early so we can go home to our families. If you are in and the cones are behind you, please replace them by the road when you leave. We are trying to minimize the effect of the neighborhood Grinch.
Twas the night before Christmas and in the one house, the neighbor was watching and being a louse. His cell phone was held in little valise ready to call in the PC police. So please park your sled in appropriate places because the Grinch will remain patrolling the spaces.

Groomers are out as I write this. Come enjoy the overall best conditions I’ve ever seen on this date in my 8 years. Abundant December snow plus our snowmaking crew means we are 95% open with the closures due to too much snow (whales, course prep etc). Come enjoy 20k of set classic track and fast skating! Santa delivered the good skiing early this year.

Saturday morning update: From looking at a weather cam, it appears that Mountain Dell might have received an unexpected 1-2 inches overnight, all coming in after we groomed. Not that we are ones to complain about snow, but it might be a tough day to skate. Classic is is always fun in fresh snow! Here’s what last night’s crew said:
Christmas Eve day is ski day…come one, come all and avoid the mall!
All loops groomed for skate and classic with nice surfaces all around. The lower loop to Cullens and beyond was in great shape from previous groom and left untouched. The World Cup loop is open and groomed for those seeking an E-ticket thrill ride. Use caution walking across the icy parking lot. Have a blast out there!

Coverage is good bottom to top.
Classic is good and gets great as you climb.
Some blown in dust towards the top from high winds and dirt hillsides. But OK.

The track conditions are fantastic today! The upper and lower track are groomed for both classic and skate. The wind chill warning is over so should be a perfect temperature throughout the whole day. Come and get set up with apparel from Odlo and Equipment for Atomic, everything is going fast!
We will be closing at 1:00pm on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.

A beautiful day! We’ll have everything groomed and set after yesterday’s breezy adventures. Come and visit us and bring a little holiday cheer. We’ll be busy but we always have time for you. Stay safe and be patient with the traffic. The trail will be waiting even if it takes an extra few minutes to get here.

We are rerouting a portion of Lower Friday morning. All of Lower will be closed all day Friday. All other trails groomed for classic and skate, except for World Cup. Track was groomed on Thursday evening and should set up nicely overnight producing great ski conditions on Friday.
