Tuesday brought continuous heavy rain at Mountain Dell. As of 6 A.M. Wednesday we have two inches of fresh wet snow and an additional two inches are expected today. We will not be grooming Wednesday in an attempt to let the moisture settle. Please consider skiing elsewhere (higher!) on Wednesday. If you do ski Mountain Dell, classic will be the best choice, both for your fun and for the track. Thank you.

Rainy spring morning in Park CIty. 40 degrees and a wee bit soggy out. Layer up for the weather. Skiing will be good, but a little sloppy. The farm is soft and soggy with a bit of mud near the church. Just be ready for adventure. Stay tuned for race news. As of 9 am today, still no permit from Park City. we’ll see how it goes.

East Canyon Hwy groomed this afternoon. Attempted to reset classic but it wasn’t taking well—not an improvement over the user-maintained track. Timing will be everything tomorrow (Tues) in finding the sweet spot between frozen and soggy. Happy Boxing Day!

Happy Boxing Day! We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Both the upper and lower tracks have been groomed for skate and classic. The snow conditions are a little icy this morning but should soften up through the afternoon. The temperature will get warm this afternoon reaching up to 39 degrees.
Come in to the Nordic Center and get set up with a Nordic Season Pass. We also have equipment available from Atomic and apparel from Odlo!

Spring conditions today. All 20+km open and groomed. A bit spicy early with the overnight crust. Classic should be fantastic in the morning, skating later morning and on when it softens a little. Temperature expected to be near 40 degrees F today. Spring structure? Ski safe, park legally, carpool and come and ski!

The snow was cold, the air was crisp,

With caution urged on the Lower Loop way,
