Mountain Dell
ON HOLD! Forecast calls for heavy rain all day Saturday. We know that grooming when the snow is totally saturated sets up problems that can take us weeks to overcome. Snow will come in on Sunday, but it will be falling on fully saturated snow and likely standing water. We had very heavy rain all day Tuesday, stayed off the course on Wednesday and on Thursday Mark and Nils created an outstanding track. We will be patient, let it settle out a bit and evaluate the grooming options Monday morning. Despite the anti-climactic finish, this has been the best December at Mountain Dell in the past two decades. Here’s to a strong January. Happy New Year!
Fairview
Skiers, Bear in mind Fairview’s head groomer is now two days out of Total knee replacement surgery (it went well, apparently). Before surgery, I met with a crew of other locals who would like to keep the track up and running. We have had snow the last few days and will get more thru the weekend. I will try to collect information on trail conditions from others and post it as it becomes available. Thanks for your patience!
Mountain Dell
All trails (except Lower Lower and World Cup) groomed for skating this morning. Classic track set yesterday is still in fine shape with just a few icy spots. Skiing will be very good before the next storm.

Good Morning,
The upper and lower tracks are groomed for classic and skate. The track conditions are going to be a little icy this morning and will get softer throughout the day. We are seeing some snow coming between today and Sunday.
We will be closing at 1:00 PM on New Year’s Eve and will be closed on New Year’s Day. Free Ski Day on New Year’s Day!

A beautiful winter morning. All 22km groomed and open for your skiing adventures. Snow coming later tonight and tomorrow and Sunday. Great time for classic skiing once the snow begins.
WCS race on the 5k on Saturday. Please carpool, ride the bus, ski in or walk. Parking will be at a premium so let’s use it wisely. PLease help us keep this event in Park City but parking legally and carpooling heavily. Transit users will get an extra name in the drawing. Bib pick up outside the nordic center in the morning. Kids start at 10, adults start about 10:20. individual start classic technique. Details on the WCS page. All other trails will be snow packed and open on Saturday.

Mark and Nils groomed everything Thursday morning for skate and classic except for Lower below Cullen’s Cutoff and the World Cup. Expect good conditions most places, with Lower and Creek being perhaps a bit soft. Enjoy!

We had a couple inches of snow overnight. The upper and lower tracks have been groomed for classic and skate. It’s a beautiful bluebird day to come and Nordic ski.
Come get set up with a Nordic Season Pass! We also have equipment from Atomic and apparel from Odlo.
We will be closing at 1:00PM on New Years Eve and closed on New Years Day. It will be a FREE ski day on New Years Day.

The Wasatch Citizens Series Race #1 has finally been permitted by Park CIty. Join us on 12/31 on the 5k for an individual start classic event in its 44th year. 10am start for kids, ~10:20 for adults. Make riding free Park City transit part of your family race experience. Park and ride access will drop you off at the corner from any direction. PLEASE ride the bus, carpool, drop off, ski in from the Farm. Do whatever it takes to keep the race going. Parking will be available at the Hotel Park CIty above and underground.
Park CIty will be ticketing and towing any illegally parked vehicles on residential streets so plan ahead and be smart like the nordic skier you are.
