Please Read – Classic Option
No obligation at this point – please check the box below that says “I am interested in classic” and we will try to form a group that skis classic AND skate. If we are able to provide rental equipment for classic, there will be an additional $25 charge later for those.
This year we’ll be offering a classic skiing option. Groups will be formed based on interest. We have a very limited supply of rentals for this in smaller sizes, but this may require equipment purchases. If you’re interested, check the box and we can help you try and find equipment, but you’ll be able to opt out later and participate in skate if it doesn’t work out.
If you are a 7th or 8th grader or coming from Devo, we recommend trying this option. Classic is an important part of cross-country skiing. It will help with skate skills as well!
Equipment Rentals
We have a limited number of rental packages available on a first-come, first served basis. In order to reserve rentals, please select “yes” to the rental question and fill out the size information in the form below.

Ski boots are in EU sizes. Need a good size conversion chart? Here’s one.
Equipment Purchase
If you’re looking for your own equipment, here are some reputable shops who carry Nordic skis and boots:
REI , Gear West, Wasatch Touring, Amazon, The House, Ski Rack
You need to have: 1 pair skate skis, skate boots, 1 pair of poles. For classic, the best option is a pair of skin skis, classic boots, and classic length poles. The coaches can help with sizing for all of the options, and skiers can also opt for a “Combi” boot that will be able to be used for both techniques.
