Good Morning. We had some mechanical issues with our groomer this morning. The Upper Track will remain closed today. We were only able to make one lap around on our Lower Track. The classic lane was set yesterday but will have wind blown snow in some areas. The skate lane will be soft. We will update the track conditions when we are able to get out and finish grooming. Have a great day!!

White Pine

light snow at 7:30 with the sun coming later. Single digits early with afternoon high near 20 F. almost another foot of snow yesterday means winter play time! All trails groomed and open. Trails will be soft due to the new snow. Blue wax conditions all day so come get your classic on. Not typical to have great waxing conditions in March, but we’ll happily take it.

If you races in the Wasatch Citizens Series 4 times or purchase the season race pass, come in to the Nordic Center and get your beanie. They are quite nice. Also, you season championship plaques are available as well.

Please ski safe and please stop physically and verbally assaulting our employees who are checking passes. It’s just not cool. Buy a pass.

Mountain Dell

Main, Mitten, Park By-Pass, Kid’s Cut-Off, Boomerang, Wiggle Room and Lolli-Top were all groomed for skate and classic Monday evening. What a difference a week makes! The copious amounts of snow since Saturday have transformed the track from zero to hero. Today and Friday should be 5-star sliding. Forecasted weekend warming will soften the track, but skiing should remain very good. As it currently stands, Sunday, March 13 is planned to be the last day of grooming operations at Mountain Dell this season due to contractual obligations with Salt Lake City and golf course operations. Enjoy epic season-ending sliding in the sunshine at Mountain Dell and thanks for all your support this season!

Mountain Dell

Approximately 6″ of new snow this morning to provide an upgrade to our conditions. Main, Mitten and Kids Cutoff were groomed for skate and classic this morning and it cleaned up nicely. Enjoy your time out there before the season ends.

Spruces

I groomed Spruces and Jordan Pines this morning and set classic track. More new snow, it was snowing when I left so if you come up it will be fresh snow on top of the groom. A lot fof snow is coming tonight, 6-10 inches and 4-8 tomorrow. It will take us a couple days to get this packed down and groomed, should make for a beautiful weekend. Saturday will be sunny.

White Pine

So nice to have winter back for a bit. All trails will be groomed and open today. Classic tracks are pretty nice and skate lanes are ready for you. We groomed the entire network with the snowcat yesterday, so today will be in great shape. Still bits of last week’s ice lurking under there so just pay attention in the historic thin areas. Ski safe and have fun! We still don’t mind at all when you wear your mask indoors at the Nordic Center.

If you had a WCS Season Pass or skied in 4 races, your season beanie is available at the Nordic Center. Season awards for race/age categories are also available at the Nordic Center. Come on in and pick up your swag while basking in the glory of your race season!

Mountain Dell

Good morning! All trails groomed last night for skate. Classic lane still in great shape. Trails open- Main, Mitten, Kids Cutoff, Wiggle, Boomerang and Lollitop. Coverage is good throughout most of track. There is a section at the top of Lolli that is being washed out but still able to ski around. Enjoy!

Fairview

We had snow showers yesterday with light accumulations. I tried to groom it again this morning but snowmobile would not fire up. I am replacing spark plugs today and will try again. Meanwhile, there is just a bit of new snow on the track so it is quite likely that the skiing will be just fine until I am able to groom again. Looks like a promising week of winter temps maybe for the last time.
